Ever experienced crushing on someone...then finding out that a better girl liked him as well?

yeah, it's happening to me right now

Apparently, one of my best friends is friends with her and she just told me that she happened to have the same crush as me

Why am I fussing?

Because I know that I have no chance against her

She's a great singer, really pretty, athletic, popular, etc

I'm the quiet, pretty much ugly, lazy, nerd type of girl. I don't have designer clothes or prett hair

I like this guy. I really do. He's just really kind and down-to-earth and that's really hard to find in my school. But now that she comes along, maybe I should just give up again.

Hey, hey, don't be so negative. She may be better than you in certain areas but I am sure you are better than her in other areas. Nbody is perfect. I mean, we are all perfect but in our own little ways. Who knows, she is probably thinking the same way as you do. Who knows, she probably thinks you are much better than her just like you think she is better than you. Don't give up just because you think someone else is better because you wouldn't really know. Maybe your crush finds her perfection imperfect and your imperfection perfect. You feel me? Hehe. Don't be afraid to be yourself because at the end of the day, that's who you are. If someone cannot accept your flaws then he/she is not worth stressing over after all. :) Fighting!
