Hae Yeon acts calm, reserved and regal, very experienced in grace and poise. She cares strongly for others she loved and would take care of, always acting mature. Hae Yeon is a very empathetic person, always getting hurt if someone around her gets hurt and is happy when they are happy. She likes to keep everyone safe and would do anything to do so. Even if it means running away. She has a slight playful side and shows it when she is very happy. Though she is a person who lives in fear of hurting others she loves. She tries to stay away from others and to not communicate as much. She has always been insecure, believing that she doesn't have the strength to protect others. Always thinking that she'd mess up and fail. She has very powerful aura wherever she is. She doesn't like to cause fights but it happens sometimes. She stands for what she believes in and would fight to make sure it is heard.

Though, her brave face doesn't prove a lot. deep down, she is scared. Scared that she's going to get hurt and scared that she'd lose the most precious things in her life. She is a person to hide when things go wrong. She tries to act brave so that she is not scaring others it sometimes work. She is hot headed. Hae Yeon grew up in a small family with just her parents, younger sister, and her. Her past was very rough. Her family has always been robbed or harassed in Greenland because they were the richest. They always had to live together, protecting and caring for one another. Hae Yeon wanted to protect her sister every chance she got. Always making sure she is safe and that no one has hurt her. Their family never left their house unless needed. They're butlers and servers would always go by their groceries and designers would come to their house privately to create their clothes. But one flaw to the situation was that her sister was very adventurous, always trying to go out of the doors that kept them inside and hidden. One day, as Hae Yeon was in her room looking out of the frosty window, she noticed her sister walking out of the building. Shocked, she ran downstairs and stopped at the end of the stairs to hear her sisters scream. Teary eyed, Hae Yeon ran as fast as she could to the front door to see her sister face down in the white snow turning red. She choked sobs as she cried for her parents. Guards quickly started shooting the terrorists away. Hae Yeon's father quickly picked her sister up and placed her on her bed. The doctor came and he told them the bad news. She's dead. Guilty and angry at herself, she trapped herself in her bedroom not wanting to come out because of the shame that she couldn't protect her sister. Her mother died from shock a couple of weeks later and her dad died from abusing drugs. She was alone in her bedroom. She thought that she was going to go crazy because one by one her family keeps dying and she couldn't protect them. At the age of 17, she decided to leave Greenland behind because it was just too painful. The fact that her family was gone killed her soul. She ran away at night and boarded a plane to Seoul, Korea. Her dad was korean, so she knew a bit korean at the time. Her mother had the greenlandic blood.

personality — At first, Lu Han is a very quiet person but once he gets closer to you, he is very cute an charming. He lets his aegyo show and tries his best to make everyone around him happy. He takes care of everyone like they are his babies and will try to hang out with you every second he gets. He treats everyone with love and does his best to keep a smile on Hae Yeon's face. He'll sometimes act like a complete idiot, living in his natural habitat.
 

INTERACTION — Hae Yeon isn't used to love so she didn't really do much except stare at him creepily all of the time. But he'd do very sweet things to her that no one in her life has every done for her. Give her flowers, ask her on a date, or do anything like that since she didn't have a normal teenage girl past. He tries to keep her happy and she got used to loosening up when she is around him. She doesn't have to worry about anyone else and she'd try to take care of Lu Han because he is her first in pretty much everything. He was her first kiss, first date ever, first to give her flowers, first to confess himself to her, and first to tell her that he loves her.
 

first meeting — They first met in 2015 when Hae Yeon was visiting Seoul, Korea because when she first moved to Korea, she lived in Daegu so she didn't know Seoul that much. As she was wandering the streets busily looking at her map, she accidently bumped into a guy and almost fell down when he quickly wrapped his arms around her waist and found herself scrunched up between his arms and chest. She's never felt anything before and her heart just started to race. She slowly looked up to see a very cute and small face look down at her worriedly. They stared at each other for a long time until Hae Yeon pushed his arms away and scratched the back of her head. He smiled at her and asked her if she was new to Seoul. She replied quietly and he politely took the map out of her hands. As he did so, their hands accidently brushed each other and she blushed. She thought, "Why the heck am I turning red?" He took the map out of her hand and crumpled it up. Immediately her feelings for him vanished, "Yah! What are you doing?!" She tried to reach for the map but he was taller than her and he was dangling it over her head. She tried to reach it with all of her might but nothing happened. He quickly ran over to the trash can and threw it away. She ran towards him and said, "What the heck are you doing? I don't even know you and this is how you treat strangers?" He replied with a smile, "Annyeong haseyo! I am Lu Han and today I will be your tour guide!" He said excitedly. She looked confused and asked, "Why are you doing this? I don't even know you." He replied with a small grin, "My friend, I feel like there is something in OUR future. We should start getting to know each other. Consider this an early anniversary present." She scoffed and rolled her eyes, "I highly doubt it." He grabbed her arm and linked it into his. "Lets go!"
