Because YOLO.

Yeah okay. I don't know why this formed in my head. But okay, yesterday I've been reading too much fanfics.

And you know what? I thought that every story you think has a unique story line, is only actually just built on a clichė plot. All writers are at fault here, even me.

'Cause really, look at some romance fics, it's always "oh I hate that stuck up rich, snobby, cold looking new student. And why did he have to sit next to me? Oh and look my boy best friend is in love with me but in the end I fall in love with the new student slash ice prince" or "I'd like to have a normal life but then I fell in love with a heartless gangster, who in the end, will also fall in love with me" OR "ew gross, that guy is a playboy but you know what? I'll just be like those lovesick chicks who will also fall in love with the playboy just because he showed his cute side to me or whatever" and lastly, "oh a super duper famous idol will come to my school but I don't know him because even though I've lived in South Korea for so long already, I still don't know him"

And angst fics be like, "oh. I'm diagnosed with Cancer but I won't tell my lover because I'd rather die than get him/her worried"

Now now, before shooting me with your guns.

I'm not saying that there will never be any fics with actual story lines that can blow your mind, because I saw somewhere that it doesn't matter whether your story is cliche or not, it's the journey that matters.

Yeah actually, I'll be focusing more on what the reader will feel whether that story he or she read will be clichė or not.

And I admit, I also build my stories on overused plots, and I read stories with overused plots too. But what do I do? I continue reading/writing.

Yeah okay bye, YOLO.

Now okay, don't hate me because despite posting this, I will cry if someone gets angry ;~~~;
