→ Jjang-Jin : Jinhyeong, earned this nickname for one reason and one reason only, as sarcasm. Grade wise during school he was never the best student whenever it came to test taking, he was barely passing any of his classes. Classmates taunt him about this fact ever since the beginning of his high school career. Calling him, "Jjang" , because he always does lower than what others expect of him.
→ Mamahyeong : Once again, classmates call him this because of how overprotective he is of his younger brother who just started high school. They call him Mamahyeong because whenever, he (Jinhyeong) catches someone bullying his younger brother, he scolds the bullies then reports them to security and to the office. If the same bullies come after his brother, he makes a complaint to the school and (if possible) he tries to find who their parents are and report it to the bullies parents, especially the mother of the family. Hencing the name, Mamahyeong.

Jinhyeong lived in America until he was about five years old, his mother was a frequent book club mom and since he couldn't be left alone at home, so his mother took him to the book club meetings that happened three times a week. He picked up on words as he heard his mother talk to the other moms in English. He began going to book clubs around the age of three. When he was old enough to go, his mother sent him to preschool where the teacher had to help him learn English and about two hours after preschool his mother took him to an English Learning Class because she was determined to make him speak the native language in America.

After moving away to America, he was taken to Korea. He was five years old when he moved to Korea. Due to financial problems his mother couldn't afford to send him to an International School so he had to go to the local public elementary school. His grandmother, whom he and his mother lived with, had to teach him Korean after his daily guitar lessons and they spent from 4 PM to 7 PM everyday to help him learn the language.

Along with learning English while he lived in America, his father was Filipino and wanted his son to learn "his" native language as well. After his son came back from his mother's book club he would teach Jinhyeong how to read, write and speak Filipino for maybe an hour a day at most. Jinhyeong began learning Filipino at the age of three, the same time he was learning how to speak English. After his father disappeared one day he couldn't learn more than what he was taught, leaving him to only know the basics and a bit of the advance words.

Personality: Jinhyeong for someone his age is very mature, he puts real life matters first, meaning he thinks realistically. He doesn't try and run after dreams like professional soccer or becoming a president. He understands his limits and how far he can go and doesn't try to think beyond that. BUT, because he is mature he is able to improve on things that he knows he needs to do. Taking care of five younger siblings at the age of fourteen requires a lot of responsibility. Family comes first before anything in his life. When he is around his younger siblings he treats them with more love than a child needs for one day, but due to this he can be a bit overprotective. If he gets in trouble or his siblings get in trouble he apologizes for the problem and takes all of the blame.  When he does get in trouble, (like if he didn't do his homework) he says it blantly and doesn't try to pull excuses. 

The fact that he is stubborn is his downfall. He refuses to work with people he doesn't like, he doesn't listen well and follow directions. If he has his mind set to a certain something he stays and sticks to his resolution. He can deal with a certain limit on how much a person can continue to annoy him, if they keep pushing his button, he's not afraid to yell or be rude (but this rarely hapens). The only time he has ever been in a fight was when his little brother, Daeho, got beat up by a high school drop out that was picking on freshmen, by the time Jinhyeong was done with the bully, the bully had a broken nose and a fractured heel. 

Background: Jinhyeong was born in Seattle, Washington, USA . Unlike most trainees that come from the states, neither one of his parents are from any European or is American (although they do have citizenship in America). Around the age of four, he received an electric guitar from his father, who for the following year, taught him how to play it. When it was coming close to his fifth birthday his father suddenly disappeared and within a month of that disappearance his family moved to South Korea. His mother and him lived with his grandmother and seven months later, his younger brother, Daeho, was born. His grandmother supported Jinhyeong with practicing on the guitar and soon after she realized his potential sent him to vocal and dance classes. Jinhyeong as he attended these classes began to favor hip-hop singers and slowly grew to try to be like them. By the age of twelve, his grandmother died. His grandmother was his only tower and support towards his dream. A month or two after his grandmother's death, his mother gave birth to quadruplets, three boys and one girl. Jinhyeong named each and everyone of them (boys first and girl is mentioned last) : Jinho, Daejin, Hojin and Soohyun. One night, when his mother told Jinhyeong that she couldn't take it anymore, when he went to sleep and woke up the next day his mother was no longer there. From then on he had to take care of his five younger siblings with only minimal support from his eleven year old brother, Daeho.

Jinhyeong slowly began to drift away from his love of hip-hop music and began going towards a darker type of music, rock. He looked up typically towards American rock bands such as: Skillet, Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, Sum41, Panic at the Disco.  At the beginning of his high school career when he could work, he held down three jobs and was taking care of his younger siblings. Scared that his family would be separted again, he begged a friend of his grandmother to let them stay with her. His grandmother's friend let them stay with her but only on the condition that they will pay her rent when they can, due to the fact that she herself was going through financial issues.  His three jobs was helping with the rent but not with the school tuition. One day when he walked from job to job, he looked over and watched as a street band began to make more money in minutes than he could make working a whole week at two of his three jobs.  He grabbed his guitar from home on days that he didn't have work, which were usually Thursdays and Sundays and began to make money.  But due to the fatigue of the four jobs and taking care of his five younger siblings he began to fail school. When he stayed awake he refused to listen or respond to a teacher's answer. During breaks and some classes in the morning he would be asleep. During gym class he would complain about not feeling well and heading to the nurses office. 

It was on a Sunday, his usual street performance days, it was around his second year of high school during midterms week. He rearranged the song, "You Hurt Me" by DMTN to a rock song and was excited for it.  The song was hip-hop BUT the lyrics was what Jinhyeong liked the most about it. He began his usual routine and at the end of it, which was usually thirty minutes long, a talent agent from A-Cube came up to him and scouted him. At first Jinhyeong refused, due to the fact that he knew A-Cube was the band that made APink a hiphop band, which wasn't his style. Then for the following Sundays and soon Thursdays, the scout came to every performance. One day, his brother, Daeho, broke his arm and some ribs because of a bully. When he received the hospital bill, Jinhyeong didn't have enough money for it at all, even if he was to work overtime at his job for six months.  So that Thursday, when the scout came to him once again, he accepted the offer to become a trainee. He has been a trainee for A-Cube since 2010 (he joined A-Cube officially near the beginning of his sophmore year).

Personality: He is a very entergetic, loyal, an older brother figure, slow and sometimes a crybaby. Jinhwan always tries to look for ways to cheer those who are around him up. He puts his friends before himself and takes note of other peoples feelings. He's loyal and sticks with his friends even if it could mean the death of him. He takes care of his friends, gives them what they want and spoils them pratically, similar to an older brother. When it comes to complicated things he is a bit slow at responding and unintentionally does not notice if someone begins to develop feelings for him.  He cries a lot when he thinks he is not stepping up to his duty of being the responsible and older person in a friendship or he thinks he's "unworthy" to be his friends with others.

Meeting: Jinhyeong was delievering chicken to the Team B / iKON dorm where outside he met Jinhwan. They became very close friends because after that they kept running into each other and due to the fact that Jinhwan's friends ordered chicken from Jinhyeong's part time job constantly. 

Interaction(s): They are very friendly with each other. Jinhyeong trusts Jinhwan a lot and respects him. Jinhwan and Jinhyeong text each other back and forth at least twenty - fifty times a day. They usually play around by teasing one another constantly, but if one of them had a bad day the other would "solve" the issue by either finding the person who ruined their friends' day or by making the other smile and laugh.

Comment/Concern/Question(s): This is my first time ever applying for an apply fic so I hope I did at least decent! Anyways, in my style pictures I used pictures of the ulzzangs beause I believed that it'd be easier just to stick with it. I did the format "backup | original pictures " because the backup does have more pictures. For the backup I tried to keep it as a dark concept. Whereas for the original I tried to keep it sort of plain and simple because Jinhyeong isn't emo, it's just that he has gone through a lot. And yes, Han Gook does look A LOT like Yonghwa, I was surprised myself to find someone like that. Anyways, I choose Han Gook as my first face claim because he matches the voice that I really wanted to give to Jinhyeong.  I'm only concern that whether or not I should make Jinhyeong a bit older to match Han Gook's face. The second reason I wanted to make Han Gook a face claim is because he sort of gives the look of a mature high schooler. I do like Yu Hamin because his face does match Jinhyeong's background but not the voice, if that makes sense.  I'm also concern about the love interest, it's not really, as in depth as I wanted it to be but like I said, this is my first time applying for an apply fic so I'm a bit nervous bout if it was okay or at least decent. 

Finally, I did try to link the videos of an example for his twins.  This is because Jung Joon Young isn't well known, same thing with Bobby. I still tried to provide a dancing clip of Jongup to the best of my abilities and it's sort of hard to find a clip of Junhyung of BEAST talking. The best I can do is maybe link his video from weekly idol, but that's all I can think of. Sorry! >.<

The only concern I have is if I did it all correctly. Like I stated before, there isn't really a lot of pictures of my first face claim, so I'm sorry for the limited amount. I did it in a gallery on photobucket for each and every one of the sections. Secondly, I'm not sure if I elaborated on Jinhwan's personality a lot, but I just tried to keep it sort of simple but at least a bit understandable. Lastly, I'm concerned if I did the Stage Personality description correctly. I tried to explain it as best as I can but to be honest I don't know what you meant by Stage Personality. 

Scene Suggestion(s): Hmm... I, myself am not really sure. Well Jinhyeong really loves his family A LOT. So maybe you can make a scene with him taking care of his siblings, or maybe at least his sibling Daeho because the other four siblings aren't mentioned as much.
