My opinion for War of Hormone

So I'm not even going to lie

I like BTS old concept more than their new concept.

For their old concept,I can totally relate and they are more dope but these days, their concept is too different...

I don't really like it. Yes I know they're hot and make peoples drools on them but well...I like their old concept. Their songs make me feel refreshed and a bit motivated.

Their concept right now isnt really "hip hop" style but more to y style.

It's more to comercial concept. I'm losing my interest towards Kpop. I like the unique and fresh concept like their old concept since I like khiphop. War of Hormone not really dope like N.O and No More Dream. I like those songs more than their new song

Yeah, I really hope this is just to try something out for the first time. They look y and all but I don't like the song at all -_-

Lol but I just want them rapping sick verses like in Tomorrow or in Cypher omfg

You're right! I like their old concept more than today's concept. But anyways,it's BTS, even though their concept change, they still can show off cool images for the fans.

I do agree that war of hormone (plus danger and boy in luv etc) are more related to love rather than school or pressure like their debut. its most likely to appeal to the larger kpop audience becuase theyre much more popular now. That said, I don't think theyre losing their hip hop style AT ALL. There are different styles of hip hop, and War of Hormone is one that is different from NMD or N.O. its more on the energetic side (after all their album is called dark & wild haha). This isn't the typical kpop song you hear, at least not to me. Then again, yeah I've gotten sick of kpop too kind of and I listen to a lot more khiphop.

Also, the reason why I need to stress theyre not really losing their roots or whatever but rather learning and making their own style is because there are definitely other amazing tracks on their new album that have that hip hop feel (cypher pt 3 killer as the prime example hehe ) A lot of their messages have been conveyed in those songs! It's just that with that style, of hard rapping and sick beats, broadcasting stations ban them so they can't even promote them :( but just remember they still have those deep messages and concepts in their other songs!

And I just want to address the person below me that love is also part of reality. War of hormone is basically about teenagers going through puberty and how they react to women and even suga had said that the song was written in all honesty. Im SUPER glad that the MV was quite tasteful towards women considering some of the lyrics "your front is the best, your back is the best ". The MV was super well filmed and they looked like they had a lot of fun!

I just wanted to respond to this that's all D: just because theyre talking about love and it had a less old school hip hop sound (Which is what nmd sounds like to me) doesn't necessarily mean theyre a sell out or anything.

U can disagree with me, just wanted to put in my viewpoint. :3 sorry if something didn't make sense

I agree with you. Even though this song's more about the struggle that teenagers' go through, it still is missing the 'BTS' feel that we normally get with their other songs. It feels like they're slowly losing their essence and instead of sticking with the hip hop genre that they did when they debuted, right through to the 'Boy in Luv'/'Danger' era, they're now sticking to mainstream K-Pop. I personally find that a bit frustrating. The reason why they're my favorite group is because they were some of the odd groups that stuck to hip hop and not pop/y concepts. If I wanted to listen to songs about love and , I could still be an EXO-L. I fell in love with Bangtan because they sang songs about reality and not cheesy kind of songs. Take Jungkook's rap in 'We Are Bulletproof Pt.2'. Or Suga's rap in Born Singer. That is what I wanted.
But I still commend them for making a wonderful MV for this song. I didn't really understand how they could make an MV for this song without it being too overly y and flirty but the choreography subtly brings in a sense of iness without them flashing or anything.
