Cheerful— Hyemi enjoys laughing and smiling. Theres no way she can stop from Smiling at people happiness. She feels awkward whenever someone is feeling down and tries to cheer them up with lame jokes or her clumsiness (like trippping over her feet, bumping into wall or hit her hand on an object etc) Shes like the moodmaker, she likes to have a fun and Loving enviroment. She shows off a 4D perosnailty on camera and likes to embrass her memebers on camera. She "tries" to pull pranks on the members but she is horrible at it.

Sweet— Total sweetheart that will help anyone out of her way. As long as they treat her with respect. She loves to give fanservice to her fans. She can be shy when people compliment her on her singing, but she gets easily embarass when cute guys/Idols tell her shes "beautiful" she somehow feels insecure about it due to bullying in her trainee days, but she it up and thanks them. background — Her dad is korean and her mom is japanese they met in Korea where her Dad accidently bumped her mom causing her to fall and they fell at love at first sight. When they were married they had one daughter and named her Lee Hyemi even though her japanese name is Matsuo Kumiko. Hyemi got into music when shewas 8 and  listened to American pop star Christina Aguelira "Hurt" she suddenly had the urge to sing so her parents put her in singing classes along with ballet classes.
She lived in Osaka, Japan for 14 years, she was quite well known in her elementry and juinior school. Students loved her voice and she had a lot of guys crushing on her, but she would deny them. Hyemi enjoyed being by herself and having her alone time. When Hyemi got home from school one day her parents were extremely quiet and she had ask whats going and they told her they had to move to Incheon, South Korea. Due to her dads work and his family wanting them to be close. Hyemi was was disappointed and felt nervewrecking going to a different country, she only knew a few Korean words and was nervous about the people there bullying her, but she promised herself that she would defend herself if she is getting bullied. 

When she was 15 she finally moved Incheon, South Korea. She liked the scenery, but she thought the people were rude and had no manners. She Isolated herself in school she was afraid to have friends turning their backs on her. When she was 16 people warmed up to her and became friends with hter cause she had a talent for music and singing. People told her she should be a K-pop idol and Hyemi had a wild idea that she wanted to be a Kpop idol. She wanted to graduate high school before she goes into Kpop industry. When she was 18 she walked home  and little kids ahd asked her to play with them and she did then when the kids asked her "what do you want to be when you grow up?" she answered an Idol and they pleaded her to sing so she sang "Story" and what she didn't know was that someone was watching her and had came up to her and said to join J-tune and she was in shock that it had happen. She and The agent went to her house and as the agent was explaining the regulation and contract. Hyemi pleaded to join and that this was the oppurnity to prove herself that anyone can do what they want. So her parents agreged and she started signing with J-tune.

TRAINee life — Even though she has been there for a year, her trainee years was extremely hard becuas ehs ehad to catch up with other people and she is a fast learner. A lot of the girls would bully her because she was either found on the street, Debuting soon, and being japanese. Hyemi ignored all the girls wether they made fun of her. She ignores it and continues with her Training, but there was times where she cried when she was by herself. One time she left at night and went to the Han river missing home and was frustrated with the trainees, but she felt a hand on her shoulder and she glanced and saw Cheondung *Thunder) and he comforted her and told her eveyrthing was fine and that she is improving then the other traniness. He is a goofball towrds his memebers and makes sure they stay on track. Daehyun is also a deep sleeper and his memebrs would prank him. He gets easily Jealous if some guy talks to his lover. First meeting — Hyemi decided to go out for coffee after her training and when she got into the small cafe a guy had pushed her down and spilled hot coffee on her and she was furious but before she could yell at him he grabbed her hand and ran with her until they were in an alley. Hyemi noticed fans running past them which Hyemi felt intimidated. Hyemi noticed the guys face and it was Daehyun she was shock, but Daehyun apologized over and over and Hyemi just laughed and said it was fine. They exchanged numbers so that they can talk since she was a trainee debuting soon.

relationship/interactions — They bicker like cats and dogs. They playfully rough house together when its just them. Hyemi and him can eat any food without gaining weight, they usually go out to  late ngiht dinner when no one is around. They disguise themselves. When they are in front of their memebers they just act like best friends that like to play. Daehyun makes fun of Hyemi when she starts talking Japanese and korean when she is excited. When they are together they get shy around each other, but they hold hands and cuddle, but won't kiss in front of the memebers cause they know they wil get made fun of.
