         again, yeseul was spotted so she didn't really voluntarily choose the idol life it chose her audition and stuff. she lives in goyang, which is quite the distance from seoul. she, along with a friend of hers, when to go travel to seoul before they would begin college. there, she was scouted at the mall while watching a performance take place. she was just a bystander and yet she was scouted, remarkable. she took the chance and got it. shortly after, she switched to a community college in seoul while training for a brief two years.
         during training, yeseul was like the 'it' girl that you either loved or loved to hate. she focuses very little on how others feel about her and absorb the genuine admiration she received. although the trainees semi-loved her, that wasn't going to have an affect on the trainers. like to everyone else, they were tough, to her especially. because she was pretty, hwang jeongi really wanted to challenge her and didn't believe that another yoona was necessary in the company. the biggest struggles, ultimately, were her trainers; especially hwang jeongi. her vocal coach and rapping coach, especially, were more lenient but nevertheless she struggled.

         for a rookie, yeseul came off way too strong (in netizen's opinion) but was always really excited about anything. young and ambitious, she was eager to approach anything. on live performances when fans would chant with them, those were her glory days. however when jane left the group, she was the most impacted. she had a strong friendship with her but like life, you learn to move on. she still keeps in contact with jane every now and then but she's grown unresponsive. when mago went on their hiatus, she was already planned to do many variety shows and stuff, since she had a strong stage presence. she started with hosting a radio show, but it didn't go on for long. it began in the winter of 2011 and ended in the spring of 2012. she began to take roles in acting and gained recognition as moo yoojung in the hit drama, reply 1997. from then, her popularity skyrocket and she appeared in more variety shows like star king and star golden bell showcasing her adlib variety skills and magic tricks that awed everyone.

         minhyuk, at first glance, can be mistaken by shy. he does tend to be a bit quiet during the first meeting, but as soon as he gets to know someone he never shuts up. he really is pretty playful, always bright smiles and laughter. he has a pretty big heart and though he can be a bit cocky at times, he does his best to look out for everyone's happiness. cheesy is his middle name, he makes super bad jokes just about every two seconds. once he's comfortable with someone, he still tends to keep most of his thoughts to himself. minhyuk tends to be a very reserved person, though he may say a lot not all of it may be really meaningful. he's a big teddy bear on the inside and takes everything to heart.
