I have so much complaints concerning one certain video from an SBS Gayo Daejun, I think. 

It's just really.. dissapointing how this is how SM promotes their rookies nowadays. Focusing on other rookies when sunbaes are singing and sunbaes looking like back up dancers to promote their rookies. 

In fact, what I think is summed up in this gif: 

Firstly, rookies/sunbaes bad camera shots.

When I first saw it, I thought it was strange because Lu Han sounded a hella lot like Jonghyun. I was like so mesmerized by Lu Han's vocals! But after a few repeats of the video, people telling me about it and fan cams, I realised it was actually Jonghyun that was singing those notes. 

I know a lot of people that said when they saw it live, they thought it was Lu Han singing, including me. And some people that watched it live also praised Lu Han for his singing when actually, it was Jonghyun's. The only thing they can praise Lu Han for in that short seconds of high notes was lip synching. When Jonghyun was belting out his high notes, the camera focused on Lu Han when it should've been Jonghyun's screen time so it looked like Lu Han was the one singing.

And lemma tell ya, it looked so real. I SWEAR! His mouth was like shaped the same as Jonghyun's and when I was watching the fancams all I thought was "who's singing who's singing who's singing who's singing" as my eyes trailed from Jonghyun to Lu Han and back. And Lu Han was quite the hottie, so I'll make an exception. 

Same goes for when Hyukjae or Donghae was singing. I was so confused if it was the rookies or the sunbaes singing because of all the different camera shots on different people that aren't even singing so I was just like, "Screw this, I'm just going to listen to their angelic voices and not even watch it,"

But the camera was, indeed, Donghae biased c;

Now a question that's totally running on my mind is, "Why? Why are they promoting EXO just by using seniors' vocals?" I mean, I understand their motive that they want EXO to be so popular, but using artists and not giving them credit for it is just so unsettling. 

Secondly, dance stages.

And can I also add, that on the dance stages, people said that SHINee and SuJu looked like EXO's back up dancers. I'm just like, dafq. 

I would've liked it more if 'SHINee and Super Junior danced with EXO like a family' not 'SHINee and Super Junior danced with EXO as expensive back up dancers.' I don't know if it is true, but if it is, I da nat like. 

Rather than a collaboration, it looked like a promotion. SM, you selfish, SELFISH jerk.

All credits were given to EXO, and I agree; Yes they were amazing! But everyone's treating this like something that only EXO has done amazingly and SHINee and SuJu just somehow left on the side.

In short: 

Dear SM Entertainment, 

Don't use your older artists and not give them credit just to promote your soon to be cool rookie. 

Dear Camera Man, 

I'd like to see Jonghyun when he's singing.

I'm not hating on EXO, I'm hating on SM Entertainment. And how dissapointing their way of promoting is. 

Anyway, SM Town Family, hwaiting! And EXO, I'm anticipating your debut and I hope you have more proper collab stages in the future :)

The biggest issue for me aren't even these things. 

The fact that all my biases, Donghae, Hyukjae, Taemin and Jonghyun, were performing and I don't know which one to stare at. 

Now, THAT'S my biggest issue.

But other than my biggest rants, the dance stage was absolutely AH-MAY-ZING! Their dance skills and singing skills are so glorious! Their outfits were memorable too. Esp. I think Lu han's rainbow jacket (personal fave), Taemin's sparkling pants and Donghae's cool as jacket. And I can say, by this performance, Kai and Lu Han's dance skills are just drop dead jhsdbfsbfakfgudjgysidfgyduuyagsufgugfiagfi amazing!
