So we had some bad storms today... 

I live in Kentucky (no I'm not some hick or a redneck that lives in the boondocks, thank you very much stereotypical society) and today I was out shopping with my mom and sister. We were just having a dandy time, but suddenly my dad texts my mom and says to get home now. Now guys, my dad is a lieutenant snipper for our police department and my mom and sister work for the sheriffs office, so we usually know what's going on around here. Well, it had been gloomy all day, a little rain here and there, so we thought nothing of it. But we were in a store and the sky just started looking extra dark (almost black, I swear, and it was only 3:30) and the tornado sirens went off. We actually didn't notice they were going off until my dad texted my mom from work saying to get home. So we ran to the car and literally almost recked 3 times because the wind and rain was so bad you couldn't see the road. There were people that had to pull over because they couldn't see and there were broken tree branches and boxes and other trash blown everywhere. Well we got home and ran to our safe room in the basement with our flashlights and all the jazz. Not long after, the sirens stopped and the sky cleared up. It was all good for a while. My dad came home we talked, and had dinner. But right as dinner ended (I was doing the dishes), the sky darkened again and it started to rain. The sirens went off again, so my dad pushed my littler sister and the dogs downstairs in the safe room while we watched the weather in the living room. It started to get worse (the news was showing it too), so my parents made me go downstairs too. I waited down there for a while, the rain just kept getting harder and harder. I opened the door a little to look and my dog ran out. So I I ran after him and dragged him back downstairs and at that point it sounded like something was just beating down our house. I poked my head out again (my dog stayed this time XD) and my mom was screaming at me to go back inside and for my dad to hurry downstairs. She was all "KATIE GET BACK INSIDE! DON (my dads name) COME ON NOW! GET DOWNSTAIRS!!!" She was already yanking my dad down the stairs cause he's stubborn and wants to watch the storm or whatever. There was literally golf ball sized hail flying at our windows. Our windows were shattering and our cars have some serious scratches. We're lucky it didn't actually hurt anyone. Our yard looks like it snowed, a lot. There's a lot of trash from other people's houses too. So yeah. This happened three times today, but luckily our house didn't get hit with a tornado, but I know some other places did. Ugh. 

But on a brighter note, I've been watching this drama and dear god save my poor soul! The male lead....... Why does life do this to me!? Why is he so handsome!? It's called Just You and I honestly don't usually watch Taiwanese dramas, but I really couldn't resist this one because the plot is so good and there's so much fluff and the men in this drama are all so cute how can I not?? 0-0
