APPEARENCE. Due to being half caucasian Van has double-eyelids and ligther brown eyes than most asians. She also has got freckles on her cheeks and nose, which she mostly covers up with BB Cream. Her freckles are mostly small and are considerate as cute by others who see it. Besides her freckles she's also a mole near the corner of her left eye and when she's smiling and her become smaller, the mole kind of looks like a heart. Her blood type is O-

STYLE. Van likes to wear simplistic and comfortable yet quite cute-ish and colorful clothing. For her are pants/jeans the way to go. She doesn't really like to wear heals and rather goes out with a pair of sneakers and a sweater or blouse on top of it all, due to the comfortable, simplistic nature of the clothing pieces. Also, no matter how warm it is outside she likes to wear a hat, which she knitted herself. She barely wears skirts/dresses, but that doesn't mean she doesn't like them, she just finds them inconvenient

PERSONALITY.
   — (+) The attitude of Van is considered quite charming due to her respectful and soft tone she speaks in. She is a                 good listener and is genuinely interest in others, which those other notice as well because of her eye smile that               looks really genuine in these kinds of conversations. Due to her humble nature she takes compliments quite wel            and graciouslyl, without being extremely proud of oneself or even arrogant. Instead of being arrogant, she                        immediately returns a compliment by saying things like "It's so kind of you to have noticed." instead of a simple              "Thank you." By being a good listener she also shows that she cares about the concerns of others and shows                    sympathy by listening to it. 

— (-) Despite being charming, Van doesn't have any backbone and is someone who easily gives up on things, making         her want to quit training multiple times. She rather easily offended as well as easily stressed due to her superstitious     behavior.  Out of small signs, which aren't actually signs she jumps to a quick conclusion which shows her ignorance       a lot. She also believes in a lot in charms and omens because of her superstitious nature. Her easily stressed nature       is also due to her inability to adjust to new situations quickly. She kind of does her actions ritualistic and always a           planning in her mind of what to do first, but when this messes up she start to freak out a lot.

TRIVA.
   — Van graduated from High School in the summer of 2012, 1 year before her actual graduation and studied                         Psychology for one year in Stockholm. She lived with her childhood friends and was always busy with her parttime         jobs, so she doesn't really know how to do choirs and cook.
   — Her love for kpop began at the age of 12 when listening to Epik High and Wonder Girls. She rapped/sang all of                 their songs with her childhood friends and immitated the moves of  the Wonder Girls a lot. Epik High is also the               only group that she likes which is filled with boys.
   — Her special skills is knitting and making disney sculptures with clay. With her knitting knowledge she knows how to         make all kind of things such as skarfs, sweaters, hats as well as animal-like things.
   — The only movie which she dislikes is 'Frozen' due to people singing 'Let It Go' everytime they saw her and got                   reminded that her Swedish name is Elsa. Despite the dislike towards the movie 'Frozen', she still can sing all of the          songs in it.
   — It's common that Van passes out due to exposure to extremely hot weather. Almost her entire life happened in               Sweden, which is known to be a country with a lot of cold weather, so she isn't used to the hot weather that may           occur in South Korea.
   — The concept of having honorifics for people older than you or higher in rank came actually pretty natural to her,             even though she grew up in a western country, due to her respectful personality.
   — Her ideal type is someone who has a optimistic and confident personality, but isn't concieted. For appearance she         doesn't really care and is even okay with dating a foreigner, but at interviews she also states that she isn't                         interested in dating.
   — She had a relationship that lasted three years, from when she was 14 til 17 years old. The both of them broke up             because of fight about living together after High School graduation, which was in Van's eyes an extremely large               step, because they had only shared their first kiss during Christmas when she was 16. This hints at that she really           wants to take it slow in relationships. Since the breakup she is strongly convinced that she doesn't need a man to           survive reality. Her theme song is: Miss A's I Don't Need A Man.
   — She loves to volunteer and has done it since a young age. She donates her blood to hospitals as well due to her               having bloodtype o- she can give any other blood type her blood.

BACKGROUND. 
   — Ly Van was born in Hue, Vietnam as child of a Vietnamese father and Swedish mother, who was working as a Historian in Vietnam when she met Van's father. After two years living in Vietnam, the family left the country to go to her mother's home country due to her father who found a job there. The following years they lived in the city of Luela, Sweden where Ly Van's younger sister was born with a three year difference inbetween. During her childhood she befriended two other girls who she discovered kpop together with in 2007. In middle and high school they dreamed about being a kpop idol, Frida and Novalie thought themselves they never could be one due to their caucasian blood, so they pushed Ly Van a bit to really follow her dreams, to perform with her own music. So after leaving to study for Stockholm, she also started to work (by having three part-time jobs) to collect money to go to South Korea, without her parents knowing. It's not like she never told them she wanted to become a kpop idol, they just never saw it in her. They never heard her rap, sing or saw her dance, so they weren't 100% supportive of her. 

So with pushes from her childhood friends she went, after a year of hard work, to South Korea without the knowledge if she could sing, dance or rap well enough even though her friends have told her countless of times she can. After auditioning for multiple agencies, she was only accepted in a few including Miss Records, which she chose for due to her admiration for Kahi and After School. Even though she was an amateur on everything, the people from the company saw a lot of potential in her and liked the charming aura around her. So, even though she had a lot of potential, she had to work hard. She was a real practice bug while being in South Korea and even forgot to tell her parents that she left, which they finally found out because of her childhood friends. Her interaction with the trainees around her weren't that great, even though nobody really disliked her, she didn't really have any friends either. To adjust to the lonely trainee life, was really hard for her as well due to her rigid and weak-willed personality, she had to take a lot of criticism to become better and most of the nights she quietly cried herself to sleep. She wanted to give up many times during her one year of training, but her childhood friends pushed her to stay, she didn't want to dissapoint her parents and she didn't have the money to go back to her home country. Luckily her hard work paid of in the end and after almost one year of hard work, her coordinator started to compliment her, which build up her confidence a bit.
