Last September 29,2014, a post from Jessica's weibo account alarmed not only the whole KPOP industry but also the international media. She wrote, "I was excited about our upcoming fan events only to shockingly be informed by my company and 8 others that as of today, I'm no longer a member. I'm devastated - my priority and love is to serve as a member of GG, but for no justifiable reason, I am being forced out," It gained different reactions from S♡nes and netizens. They said her account was hacked, pointing out that such statement did not even make sense. The members of Girls Generation had renewed their contract recently, so what's the point of her being dropped out of the group? However, it was later confirmed by the group's agency, SM Entertainment that Jessica was indeed 'pulled out' from the group. Such confirmation intensely shocked everyone. They could not believe on how Jessica was removed from the group because there were 'conflicts of differences in priorities and interests' as per SM Entertainment stated.

People started blaming either SM Entertainment and the rest of the members of the group, most especially when Jessica released a statement with regards to the issue. She stated:

I have always put Girls' Generation's activities before my business or personal life as a member of Girls' Generation. However, despite my efforts for the team, I have been asked to leave the team by the agency.

While I was planning my business that I've had a lot of interest in since before, I had sufficiently consulted SM as well as the members about my preparation many times and asked for their understanding.

Up until the beginning of August when I was launching 'BLANC', I had received agreement and permission from SM, and congratulations from the members as well.

However, in early September, after only a month since the launching, the members suddenly changed their position and held a meeting, and told me to either quit my business or leave Girls' Generation without any justifiable reason.
I explained that I had already received permission from the agency, that I had never neglected Girls' Generation's activities, and that I could not suddenly halt my business due to my contract with my business partner after a month.
Ultimately, I pleaded that it was unjust for me to have to make a choice. Becoming a Girls' Generation member was the best thing in my life, and I had never thought about quitting.

Shocked about this, I had met with the agency CEO on September 16 to convey my position, and once again confirmed their permission for carrying out my business.

However, on September 29, I was given a one-sided notice asking me to leave Girls' Generation. Due to this, I was also unable to attend the fan meeting in China on September 30, and I have also been excluded from following Girls' Generation activities.

I have received great pain and cannot hide my sadness that I was asked by the agency and fellow members, whom I've spent 15 years with putting in all my passion and effort, to leave Girls' Generation just because of the reason that I'm starting a business.

I also want to apologize for causing concern to all the fans. Please understand that this situation is not at all what I had wanted, and that I've always treasured Girls' Generation, and that I will continue to do so. Thank you for always supporting and loving me.

Sincerely,
Jessica

On the way Jessica had stated it, it was clear that she was claiming that SM Entertainment as well as the other members of Girls' Generation were the people behind her departure from the group.

Because of her statement, people are now saying that the 8 girls 'betrayed' their longtime sisterly-like relationship with the former for asking her to choose between her business (BLANC) and the group. Her claims though not she vaguely stated, conveyed that it was really a betrayal which actually happened. Earning sympathy from fans for Jessica, and many hatred and detestation towards her co-members.

Several news and gossips also said that Jessica is wrapping up to get married this coming May 2015 to her alleged boyfriend, Tyler Kwon which was the reason of her sudden exit from the group. The man involved on the said issue then followed a testimony denying the purported marriage rumors of him and the said girl group member.

Currently, we could totally identify who the real and ingenuine S♡nes are. There are S♡nes, who are basically Gorjess/Jessica-biased who are in the peak of leaving the fandom. On the other hand, there are fans who unconditionally wanted to stay and support both Jessica and the group no matter what happens. Indeed, it is true that true and fake people appear at times of difficulties.

Due to the abrupt turn of events, I am deeply upset on how things went so far as a S♡ne. Jessica is one of my top biases from Girls' Generation. I never thought that the girls would be involved in such a difficult situation. For the past 7 years, they never encountered such problem. I do not like to side anyone. Neither to the 8 members, nor to Jessica (who seemed to be currently holding the 'victim' card right now). SM Entertainment and Jessica's statements were truly contradicting. KPOP industry is still a business after all. SHOWBUSINESS is a field which wanted to persuade the fans to believe what they, the powerful and influential people wanted to show the people. Nothing and no one is CLEAN and TRUE in the industry. Things might be a lot different on and off the camera. Two sides of the story were already laid out (SM Entertainment's & Jessica's). Whereas, the rest of the 8 members still have not released their opinions on the said issue (though Taeyeon already ambiguously apologized and asked the fans to trust them). Taking sides is very unjust and unfair for everyone involved. We need to listen to everyone's side, no more no less. Hence, judging the issue one-sidedly is ABSOLUTELY not the best thing to do right this moment. It would be better if we would wish and hope for the issue to be resolved peacefully.

One thing is for sure : No one from us knows what is the TRUTH. Neither Dispatch, nor the media insiders. Statements and claims were just hearsays and might have been already altered. The only people who can definitely tell the truth were the people involved in the issue. Jessica, Girls' Generation and SM Entertainment.

Let us all wish the best for both Jessica aand Girls' Generation, whether there would be chances for the former to come back or not.
