jaehyun stands at 1.79 m tall and weights 61 kg. he's kinda thin for his height, but he doesn't really care because he is proud for his body--at least for now. he's not quite muscular, but he has a ready-to-be-packs stomatch producted from a routine work out at the gym, although he never show it to anybody except his roommate. being a pure korean, his skin is fair enough until it reach the point his sisters often mock him as a snow white. originally, he has a blackish straight hair and he keep it long until high school era. he started to dye it, and even style it when he became a trainee. he dyed his hair depends on the occasion.

jaehyun surprisingly doesn't really care about what he wore, wears, and going to wear. he just accept what coordi noonas give him and probably wont care if they give him transparant outfit. the only thing jaehyun minds is the colors. his choose will always around black, blue, gray and other neutral to dark colors. in daily, he is someone who re-use a shirt for two days straight before remembering to change it. people most see him in sleeveless shirt, jeans or sweatpants, sneakers, and at times with leather jacket or hoodie. but having a good looking (self proclaimed, actually) appearance, it's not that hard for him to adapt in formal attires and look cool with it.

Personality:
jaehyun is someone who people will generally look at, because he has an overall good looking appearance. deeper than appearance, jaehyun is a humble and polite guy, he treat people around him as nice as he could, more over to people older than him. one of the reason why park jinyoung choose him as the leader of the group, despite not being the oldest and having less training periods than a few fellow member, is because jaehyun is a rational and responsible person. people obviously can count on him because he does whatever he thinks is right and he will take full responsibility for whatever happen after.

being a leader doesn’t make him unflexible though, around his familiar circumstances, example family and friends, jaehyun is an outgoing and a real sweet talker. since he has two older sisters, jaehyun grew with a mindset that women need a compliment and affections. but also because he has two sisters, he hates complicated routine to do something. he hates to fold his clothes, he hates to clean up his room, and even he hates that he need to take a bath at night before go to sleep. jaehyun grew up being an untidy person, he piles up his used clothes in the couch, and he doesn’t really enjoy cleaning the leftover when the dinner ends.

willing to take full responsibilty is the same with willing to take any risk for him. that’s one of the worst part of jaehyun. he is someone who really goal oriented, passionate and so ambitious with what he wants. though he tried to control it, since he can’t really force his thought on random people, it’s still hard for him to see someone (moreover it’s ) being lazy, the reason being sometime he want a perfect result although he knew that it’s nearly impossible.

Background:
jun go by the name of jo jaehyun. he was born on early july 1994 at jeju island, south korea. although both of his parents are the native of jeju, they decided to move to seoul in 1995 because a contract offer jaehyun's dad got. being the youngest in the family didn't really impact jaehyun becasue basically he is still the only son and everyone in the family counts on him. his childhood days was full of him training taekwondo, learning how to be a good person from his father and even went to courses to help him with his grades. since he always do better in sports ever since he was so young, jaehyun's parents wanted him to become an athlete--a soccer player actually.

but then his interest in sports overshadowed by the passion for dancing he found when he was around 15 or something. his life started to be all about music, all about dance, all about rap. with the help of his sisters who were studying in broadcasting, he knew a few friends who are the expert in entertainment field. jaehyun somehow became their followers, willing to do anything as long they will give the things he need. from them, he started to learn guiat, piano, rapping, dancing and even singin.  with bunch of friends, jaehyun started to have the courage to perform some dances and raps in front of public at hongdae street, and that was also the reason why jyp scouting team found him in early 2010. who knows at that time, that jaehyun will be the possible line up for the debut of scorch, more over being it leader with everything he has.
