I was never a big fan of YG artists. So why is WINNER suddenly the top male Idol group on my playlist?

 WINNER is definitely different from previous boy groups from YG.

Recall back to WIN, when team A and team B were battling each other for debute. Team A struggled especailly with teamwork while team B seemed quite at ease. Team B had a strong leaer; B.I. and supports from Bobbi and Jinhwan. They had a stable structure of leadership and they worked as a team. However, Team A was composed of various and unique indivisuals. Kangseungyoon and Lee seunghoon, were both from previous survival programs, and Songminho had been an indie, Nam taehyun is also an interesting character and so is Jinwoo. 

Team B had an image that was similar to Big Bang, To me, it felt like watching the creation of a little big  bang, President Yang also compared B.I.'s leadership to G-Dragon. Team B clearly had strong rappers and relatively less power in the vocals. (Jinhwan and Junhoe has wondergful voice- just saying)

On the other hand, Team A focuses on the Vocals. I undertand that Minho is a very talented rapper and so is seunghoon, but everytime I watch team A, the three vocalists seems to recieve a lot more attention. Kang seung yoon's strong, and husky voice, Nam TaeHyun's thin but powerful vocal and jinwoo's sweet and neutral tone makes it alot more interesting to listend to team A's songs. Team A aka WINNER as they are now, shows that they are potentially different from Big Bang.
