Background :

Although she was born in USA, when her parents decides to move to Korea, she can't help but follow, although she was happy to move to Korea. She had moved around almost every other year, giving her rarely chance to really become bestest friends with anyone. It was only after she becamse a trainee that she made life-time friends.

"What's your dream?" people would often ask Jacqueline. She didn't have answer for them and simply said, "Anything." She didn't have much dreams and nothing truly grabbed her attention. People expected her to get a good job as she was studious and bright, but when she met Eleanor, her life changed and she started to have dreams.

Although she is a Korean, her parents nor friends were really into K-related things. It was only have her friend, Eleanor, a Kpop-craze, introduced her to Kpop that she started listening to Kpop and watching Kdramas. She has kept it a secretely from her parents, only told her sister. Together Eliza and Jacqueline decided to audition for an entertainment. When their parents found out, they were furious and grounded them for 2 months before her mom felt bad and decided to support them.

Eliza was lucky to get into JYP, the entertainment she wanted to go to, but Jacqueline wasn't so sure, until Shinhwas said they are looking for trainees. Jacqueline auditioned almost right away as she had been practicing for two years.The first two times, she didn't get it. It was only after the third time Minwoo saw a possibility in her that she was accepted.

negative : as she has moved around a lot in her 23 years of life, she gets too attached to people. she is afraid she would have to leave again soon so she wants to do everything in her best abaility to others. that sometimes leads people to be annoyed by her, and they would detach themselves from her. her mother's realistic-ness led Sarah to be pessimistic for more than half of her life-time. so vocal training took her longer than anyone else, as she couldn't get into the song. she would sometimes over think things, which leads her to more confusion than ever. Although she rarely gets mad, when she is really angered, she can not hold it back. It is as if all of the angers that piled inside her is let out at once. How you met : At the music core, there was a lot of boxes that needed to be carried, which were all very heavy. Jacqueline and managers offered to help and when Jong Hyun asked Jacqueline if she needed help, she said she didn't and Jong Hyun was a bit surprised that she wouldn't just stay back and let managers do the hard work. So Jong Hyun also helped out, hoping to get on Jacqueline's good side and then they became friends, slowly developing feelings towards each other later on.

How did you get in the agency? : Auditioned when she was 16 as soon as she heard that Shinhwa was looking for few trainees.

How were your trainee days : She really needed to work on feelings, which was beyong realistic, almost pessimistic. Although she was not fat, she was not fit either, so she would have to do 10 laps every day. Jacqueline learned to manage her time really well, although at first she would get only few hours of sleep in order to do everything.
