Jessica Conspiracy - (by me and Coiste) - why she wasn't in TaeTiSeo, and why she never presents abroad.

Okay so here’s a theory;

Jessica said something she shouldn’t have at a press conference, and while we don’t have any idea what she could have said, we have a theory that it cost SM a lot of money to fix.

If she had done something like this we wouldn’t know about it, and they wouldn’t have kicked her out of soshi because they make so much money for SM, but they would have punished her, like for example, not letting her in the subunit they were planning.

TaeTiSeo while amazing; makes no logical sense to have Seohyun in it. Seohyun doesn’t have a y image, and she only wears y clothes when the entire band are wearing y clothes. In individual concepts she always is the innocent one, because that’s the role she plays in soshi. However, if say the Twinkle concept was planned with TaeNySic in mind, that makes sense because Jessica has always been a if not THE token y member of SNSD. In addition to this, Jessica is well known for being very barbie like, and thus the jeweled, y Twinkle outfits would have been a better fit for her rather than Seohyun.

Also TaeTiSeo's overall concept is to have the powerful vocals of soshi, and although Seohyun does have an amazing voice, it is a strong harsher vocal than Jessica’s softer strong vocals which would logically round out Tiffany’s deep vocals, Taeyeon’s over all range, and then leave the high notes for her.

Also it was around this time when the absence of TaengSic started, which many fans took to show they were in the middle of a large fight, or hated each other. Now clearly, it would not be odd if two young women who have to be around each other all the time started to get on each other’s nerves -- but after the many years soshi have been around, you would have thought they’d learn to not show this distance on stage. It's always been Jessica trying to reach out to Taeyeon though, which has led many of us to think maybe Jessica had done something "wrong" to Taeyeon. This may be another cause of why in the last few years, Sica hasn't been doing as much as she used to- remember Legally Blonde and Wild Romance?

In addition to this, it’s widely known Jessica is as good at public speaking as Tiffany, and has the same English skills, and yet she is never trusted to speak alone at any events, let alone the ones set abroad. Tiffany constantly is publicly speaking in America, and going to events, despite the fact Tiffany’s schedule has to be more packed than Jessica’s because Tiffany constantly has tv shows, MCing, and TaeTiSeo events, so it would make little sense profit wise to take a busy person out of the country instead of a non-busy person who would not have to leave any other money earning events in order to go to the U.S.

--Cough-- like when Tae, Tiff, and Sunny were flown out to sing the anthem in the US --cough cough--, during this event, as seen in the video below, while Taeyeon flawlessly sung the Korean anthem, Tiffany had some trouble singing the American one because much of the song was out of the range she can comfortably sing in -- Jessica however sings naturally in this range.

In short, we're wondering and bet you have been too, what the hell SM has against Sica.

I think that TaeTiSeo's voices blend well together...Jessica has that voice that would not really go well with Taeyeon's and Tiffany's voices. I don't think SM had anything against Jessica. Also this was just a rumour when TTS first started that Jessica was suppose to be in the sub group but she declined the offer thing so they put Seohyun in. If Jessica was in the sub group...and since she left what would be left of the group? Which is why I'm glad they put Seohyun to make it TTS

I agree! Whenever I'm envisioning the vocals in order from strongest to least strongest, TaengSic is always at the top :/

I think I read somewhere that it was originally supposed to be TaengSicNy but Taeyeon said something along the lines of 'Seohyun deserves to be in it', and stuff like that so they replaced Sica with her. But maybe this was false info I was told?

I heard that originally, it was going to be Seohyun for her nice voice, taeyeon for her powerful voice, and Jessica for her high voice that would make up the subunit.
Though I prefer Jessica's vocals over tiffany's, I saw their "the boys" era as a test run when they promoted in America. Jessica is known not to be very liked because of her ice image while Tiffany has a charming girl's next door look. During 2010-11 Jessica was the most liked member while Yoona's popularity was dying down, but when they started the overseas promotion in America and japan, I noticed Tiffany and Taeyeon has ways more lines than usual, Jessica usually having more lines than Tiffany. Back then, Jessica and Yoona were like the face of the group, that's why they would have the best outfits. But now it's Taeyeon and Tiffany, proved in Twinkel while Seohyun always gets the short end of the stick. All in all, I think profit wise and promotion wise, Tiffany would be a canidate in SM's mind simply because she is now way more popular than Jessica.

Jessica kind of at public speaking though.
She isn't easily liked and actually gets the most hate out of everyone in snsd.
Look up her on running man. She is a harsh personality and unapologetic for it.
Tiffany is very calm and well rounded. It makes sense that she is the English spokesperson.

Also did you forget about Jessica and Krystal's TV show?
SM doesn't have anything against her.
