Am I stupid?

Or just plain dumb?

Am I a masochist?

Or my heart’s just numb?

 

I believed that I can endure the pain

And still remain your friend.

But why is this driving me insane?

These wicked feelings that I obtain.

 

I said I’ll let you go

And that I’ll set you free.

That I’ll let you be with him

And let him be the one to make you happy.

 

I thought I have moved on from you

And that this one-sided love was through.

But I was mistaken though.

For the wicked feelings didn’t go.

 

Sparks still remain to fly

Stomach full of butterflies

Heart still soaring high

Still lost in Paradise.

 

Guess there is nothing I can do.

For I have fallen too deep.

Guess this thing will forever remain

A secret I’ll have to keep.
