Day 13 ~ A Group I Dislike(?)

This is by far the biggest "challenge" I've had doing this.

Why?

Because there's no group that I dislike.

There are groups I'm impartial towards, and that's only because I haven't taken the time to avidly look into their music or see what they're about.

I used to be an incredibly ignorant fan and dislike SHINee for no better reason than I thought they were a cheap replica of DBSK. Until I realized what SM was about, and I started to watch SHINee as an individual group, not as a package deal in the SM industry. But that's an entirely different story.

I find it incredibly hard to "dislike" any group. And here's why:

I'm an artist. Therefore, I have the utmost respect for any idol's work and efforts. Even if I'm not the biggest fan or I don't feel that it's a good representation of their talents, I refuse to dislike any group. I will dislike what a company does to their idols and how they're treated, or their poor promotions or choreography or wardrobe choice, but I can't bring myself to dislike any group.

I just feel that disliking a group and being an anti undermines all of their hard work to get where they are today. And I know how ty it feels to have my work looked down on and hated. So why would I bring that kind of pain upon anyone else who shares my passion?

Like I said...I used to be ignorant and dislike certain groups and idols because of who they appeared to be. But when it got down to it, I was proved grossly wrong and learned from my naive ways.

Aha, sorry to sound like a total y downer tonight everyone~ I just get so bothered when people are like, "I dislike *insertgirlgrouphere* for being ty and I hate *insertguygrouphere* because they're a carbon copy of so-and-so." It's not the idols' faults that their management companies are in charge of their styles and concepts. And music. And everything.

And it also bothers me when people unnecessarily hate on Chocolat for being a group with girls of mixed race. Awesome, guys. You're all about equality and bringing other races into kpop, so when it happens, you get your in a bunch? Give those kids a break, they have talent and they're beautiful people, don't hate on them just because of the way you were raised in society. I guarantee you that you've had the desire to become an idol. I don't think you'd appreciate being hated for not being the typical bagel girl from Korea.

Wow...a lot of frustrations vented just like that ^^

So to answer this challenge...I don't dislike anyone ;) I love giving everyone a chance. Except if the group was made up of a bunch of ax murderers and rapists. Then I probably would dislike them a bit.

Thanks for listening~

I don't dislike any groups either...I just hate the whole "cute" concept. I can't stand it when these girls are speaking baby talk like it's cute...no it's annoying -____- They are of age to be doing more mature songs and it's barely showcased *cough*IUandhernewestalbum*cough*

I LOVE Chocolat!! I can't wait to see an mixed race guy group come into the picture as well ^____^ I commend all of the members for their drive. It that most of the people that hated on those girls weren't even Korean. As far as I was told, the Koreans didn't even have a problem with it and in fact, welcomed them warmly. I can't stand no racist mo'ers *Zico's voice*

I used to say 'I don't like Dbsk', but it's not really I don't like them? But I don't like them, as in impartial, because while they are very talented and skilled, Dbsk songs just don't do it for me.

However, I do respect and like them as people/entertainers, just not my cupatea.

SYNDROME IS AWESOME :D, kpoppers at my school love the dance ~

.. I just forgot the point of my comment xD

i used to dislike Sm in general for the thing that happened between TVXQ & Super Junior. with TVXQ splitting up & SuJu loosing members i thought they were a 'bad' company. but now i have to look at them a bit differently
