— A little on the short side, she is a little underweight albiet perfectly healthy. She was born with smaller bones than normal and therefore weighs lighter than others her size. Her hair is naturally light brown and her eyes are hazel colord, hence she never needs to wear colour contacts during performances or shows. She has a small, barely visible scar on her knee that she holds closely to her heart.

STYLE ♡ 
— Seulbi is nowhere near being a fashionista. She knows almost nothing about fashion and how to mix and match or layer or anything. Honestly speaking, she could be arrested for being a fashion disaster at times, so she usually opts for simple clothing such as tees, crop tops, sweaters, leggings, shorts, or dresses. On hot days, she usually wears a pair of short shorts and a tee or crop top with a pair of black Vans or any other type of street shoe. Either that or a short summer dress paired with heels. On chilly days, she opts for the classic leggings and oversized sweater (either knitted or not) with UGG boots or ankle boot heels. Seulbi is a girl who loves heels and street shoes and oversized clothing. She can also be seen frequently carrying around oversized jackets, hoodies, varsity jackets, etc. As for make up, her lips are always, always pink. Her eyes are usually kept natural looking, with only a light touch of mascara, unless it's for performances of course. She wears CC cream with sunblock at all times. Her hair is usually either straightenned or curled; she doesn't like tying her hair up unless it's for excercise.

PERSONALITY ♡

Seulbi, who's a little on the introverted side may seem intimidating to some since she doesn't smile unless her friends are around her. Don't get her wrong, she loves talking and interacting with people, but sometimes her shyness gets in the way and she decides to stay on the sidelines instead of jumping into a conversation with people she doesn't know. She can be a very awkward person at times, difficult to connect with and talk to as she tends to say all the wrong things and accidentally end conversations without meaning to. Despite her awkwardness, she is super sarcastic. Whenever a statement  or question that sounds a little dumb is said, she always comments sarcastically, causing laughter.  

Often times, she doesn't really care about anything and just goes with the flow, making it seem like she has no worries or responsibilities giving her carefree attitude. Along with her carefree attitude is her bubbly side- a side of her that she only shows those she knows as well as her fans. She's always smiling around her friends and laughing happily. Seulbi is an extremely good friend in the sense that she's probably one of the best people to confide in since she's very understanding and trustworthy. Any secret she is told will be taken along with her to her grave. She is very understanding and often overlooks actions others committed against her, a trait that was also developed by her desire to not make conflicts too big. She loves an adventure and would be the first to volunteer for activities such as bungee jumping, racing, sky diving, etc. She's also very insecure when it comes to friendship due to her awkwardness and overthinks small problems a lot.

Her on-stage persona is basically what she shows only her friends- her bubbly side. She's happy, smiling and laughing.

Seulbi was born  on May 4th 1997 to a middle-class couple in New York, the city that never sleeps. Since they were in America, her legal name was Winny while her Korean name was Seulbi. Like typical Asian parents, her parents wanted her to succeed and forced her to learn as many things as she could once she turned 4. She was pushed into playing the piano (like all Asian kids), learning Taekwondo (she ended up earning her Junior black belt right before she left for Korea), and an endless list of academic classes with Math, Science, English and Korean as the most important. She was a lonely child while growing up as the single child of a family of three. To deal with those negative feelings, the young Seulbi turned to music. Often times, she would be singing and dancing at home. As time went by, she began developing a love for music through her piano lessons and watching performances by her favourite singer Rain and others on TV.

When she turned 10, her dad's company transferred him to a branch of theirs in Seoul, and the whole family had to pack their bags and moved. Though the American education system was a bit behind in terms of math, she had gone to enough high-end academies to be on the same level as Koreans her age and therefore, didn't have to be pushed back a grade. With moving to a new country came the opportunity to chase after a new dream- music. She was lucky to have parents as understanding as her's, for when she told them that she actually had no plans on becoming a surgical doctor like they wanted her to, they immediately apologized and began searching for a good singing academy.

 

On her fourteenth birthday, she made the most daring but important decisions of her life, to audition for SM Entertainment. She got in on her first try, thanks to the four years of intense vocal lessons, and began her trainee life. It was hard for her to create an even balance between school and training, but nevertheless, she enjoyed it to no end. Though it was tiring, just the thought of being able to perform in the future was enough to fuel her for the four years of training she endured. Her parents were great supporters and always encouraged her whenever she felt worn out by holding special family events or cooking her favourite food. Along the way, she became good friends with her fellow trainees who attended the same school as her (SOPA- Seoul School Of Performing Arts), EXO's Kai and Sehun, and one of her current labelmates Seulgi as well as others.

PRESENT ♡
Red Velvet just made their debut a little over a month ago, so Seulbi's life is pretty hectic. She has her weekly (almost daily, if you ask her) promotions at music shows, interviews, photoshoots and training sessions. She's up and running about almost the entire day and returns to her dorm sometime after midnight. Whenever she has time, she goes to school like a normal teenager (she graduates next year), which she thinks of as a priviledge since she gets to relax with her friends. When she's not promoting or going to school, she likes to hang out with her friends and watch movies, go shopping or just doing anything fun. She enjoys going out for walks after eating in order to escape the responsibility of washing the dishes and doing house chores (which the other members usually end up doing). In conclusion, without promotions, her life is pretty normal and chill.

At first glance, the cutie pie of BTS Jungkook probably looks like one of those cutesy guys who does aegyo all the time. However, he's not. Jungkook is one of those guys who fit exactly as Seulbi's ideal type. He's very similar to the type of person her cousin is. He's not old enough yet, but he loves partying and drinking. He's a rebel and is very manly in the way he walks, dresses and acts. He's always joking around, making him approachable and easy to talk to. He's aso very sarcastic and makes witty comments about everything that sometimes makes him frustrating to be with. 

When he's in love, he changes completely. He treats her as if she's everything and always tries to make time for her amidst his busy schedule. He'll do whatever she asks him to do, even if it means unfriending all his other girl friends. He's extremely loyal and would never cheat on her. Whenever she does something that frustrates him, he won't stay mad for long and forgive her almost immediately, as long as she promises not to do it again. He's really sweet and does cute romantic things for the girl. Of course, he'll still joke around and make sarcastic comments, sometimes insulting her playfully.

FIRST MEETING ♡ 

Seulbi met all of her idol friends at SOPA, so it shouldn't be much of a surprise that her first meeting with Jungkook was at the same school. Their first meeting was a total coincidence. Or not. It turns out he was actually a childhood friend of her best friend Jay. A few weeks into the start of school, she was with Jay when Jungkook came sprinting down the hallway excitedly shouting, "HYUUUNG!!" She had watched quietly on the sidelines as the older gave the younger a fistbump, asking about is thoughts on high school. They had conversed for a short while before Jungkook adverted his gaze to Seulbi, who was staring at him. "Who's this pretty lady?" He had asked, sending her a wink that he thought would've swooned her. It didn't, though. That question tossed the  dice and Seulbi was introduced to Jungkook. The bell had rung afterwards, signalling the start of classes which had sent the three on their seperate ways. It wasn't love at first sight, at least not for Seulbi. Jungkook, however, had thought that the girl was extremely pretty and wanted to get to know her more.

RELATIONSHIP ♡ 

Over the year spent in high school together, Seulbi and Jungkook often found themselves entangled together. Sometimes, they would randomly bump into each other in the hallways, at the mall or just on the streets. Jungkook would also tag along with Jay and his friends and go out for drinks with them. Hence, Seulbi and Jungkook became friends quite naturally. They're nowhere near being best friends, but whenever Seulbi is with him, she always feels comfortable even if they're not talking. Though Seulbi treats Jungkook like how she would any other guy friend, her small subtle habits change a lot whenever he's around. She smiles and laughs more, and frequently finds herself playing with her hair and blushing, or linking arms. He's one of her drinking buddies, and vice versa. He really likes putting his arms around her and poking her to annoy her. They're mostly just bros, since their friendship is centralized around the activities they do rather than the secrets they share. They go out a lot with Jay and his friends. Others don't really see them as a couple, since Seulbi is usually with Jay or her cousin. They're nicknamed the "drunktards" though, since they're usually the ones to overdrink first and they also act really high together, even if they didn't drink.
