My Late Understanding of Iljin Taehyun

I'm a pretty dedicated Inner Circle. I mean, I've been looking forward to the boys' debut for months before it actually happened. I went through episodes upon episodes of Winner TV just so that I wouldn't go through Nam Taehyun withdrawal symptoms. He was my bias (and baby) from day one and the thought of him being attacked by haters really angers me and breaks my heart into zillions of atoms or molecules or whatever. First of all, I had an idea of Taehyun's past from watching WIN. I think they talked about it in an episode but I don't remember which exact episode. He is the oldest son of a single mom with a younger brother and his grandmother under the same roof. In an environment like that I'm pretty certain that he would be very protective of his family. I've heard rumors that during his high school years, which wasn't that far back to be honest, he was an 일진 (iljin) or a bully. Apparently, he beat his classmate up to the point of that said classmate being hospitalized for weeks. I have a feeling that this story has been GREATLY exaggerated. Also, they said that the reason for the fight was that the classmate started speaking about his mother in a disrespectful way. I don't know about other people, but if anyone started talking crap about my sister and my family, I will not retaliate to knock them down a peg. Its just instinct, you know? I'm not saying what he did, assuming that this story is true, is the right thing to have handled the situation. Rather, I understand. I understand that he wanted to protect the reputation of his family. I understand he was probably stressed and scared because he was a trainee. I understand because I've seen people like him. So, please understand as well. That was years ago. Nam Taehyun has changed. Maybe I'm biased or something, but he is a human. Humans make mistakes. So will I and so will you. What we should do is support each other rather than bring each other down. Please support Taehyun and his hyungs. 윙너 화리팅!!!!
