Updates from WinterRose!

Wow, it really has been such a long time since I've logged in onto Asianfanfics o; Has anyone missed me? (Probably not...ahaha...T-T) Anyway, I thought I would just post a update, since I have been busy and will be geting busier in the future.

I've been at home, pretty much chilling, at least for the first half of my summer. It's kind of crazy to think that in a few short weeks, I'll be starting my second year in college. I'm scared, nervous, and excited all at the same time. I honestly can't wait to go back and get some freedom again. My parents don't let me out too often (yes even though I am technically an adult now), so being at home is has been suffocating to say the least. I have been able to go out a few times this summer, but my parents tend to give me the cold shoulder whenever I come home. I don't have the best relationship with my parents, let's just leave it at that. Are you parents as strict as mine are?

During the latter half of my summer, I've been studying for my Pharmacy Technician exam. I have to memorize a bunch of things, including a list of 100 top drugs in the US, which include the generic brands, the name brands, and the sickness that it's supposed to treat. That has been really hard! My test is coming up near the end of the month, but right now I'm considering moving it to another date...we'll see what happens and how I feel after this next week is over. Fingers crossed! Have you been studying or doing anything academic this summer? Are you already back at school? My college is starting late this year, and they're cutting off one week of Winter Break to make up for it T-T I cry.

I've kind of been in another writing block. I really don't have much inspiration being at home and all. At least at school, I can observe people around me and write about things I see, but at home, I'm pretty much in my room the entire day. Although I have been able to write a poem to enter a scholarship contest. I originally wrote it for my boyfriend for our 4 months, but I ended up lengthening it to enter it into the contest :) Do you guys write poetry when you're not writing fanfiction?

I've also been able to listen to a lot more music recently, and rediscovering the little things that I love. Right now, I'm really into EDM right now. I also really like the new SM group that came out: Red Velvet. I am addicted to thier song "Happiness". I have it on repeat all the time, haha. What kind of music are you guys into right now? 

I am sad, but not really guilty to say I haven't been into the whole drama thing anymore. I just get lazy to watch and wait for the entire series to progress. Some dramas are just...Idk, too predictable? I guess I don't really have any right to say that, considering my stories are all pretty cliche, but I for some reason don't have any patience for dramas anymore. I had a list of dramas my friends all told me to watch, but I haven't made a dent in that at all. Well, I've started, but gave up xD There is one drama that I am looking forward to: Secret Door with Kim Yoo Jung. She's my favorite child actress right now. She's just so pretty and mature for her age, even if she's like 5 years younger than I am. Some people are so talented, don't you think? Are you guys watching any dramas? Any that I really should watch? haha.

I also tried exercising this summer, trying to yet again, lose my tummy fat. I don't have that much, but it bothers me xD I've been running and doing pilates. What have you been doing to keep healthy this summer?
