fans

so, i wanted to post this since a few days but never got the chance to write my thoughts down.

but, here i am, haha~

it's about the inspirit group again. (i'm sorry.)

seven people left us. i dunno why the first one's left but then we got into an argument and then the others left too because of our way of thinking.

the second fanboy was gaying at the admin too much and that got on my nerves. the admin ignored him and we talked about the admin's cousin that likes a few of infinite's songs and wanted to join us. but he always said he's not an inspirit, so, no inspirit no member of the group. we (a fangirl, the admin and me) are hardcore fans. we know a lot of things of them, can sing along to their songs and we stan them to no end. i don't know about you but their our number one. so, we got into the conversation about what a true fan and member of the official fanclub should be like. we three agreed that:

  1. should know at least more than the title songs
  2. should have watched at least a few of their variety shows
  3. should know facts about the members

so, that's what a true fan should be like to us and ofc it's maybe just our opinion but as a fan you should stan them so much to do all these things to get to know them better than others. that's why we argued and were ing at each other. i know others may not think like us but there are two types of fans.

type one: just a fan

type two: a (hardcore) fan and member of the fandom

(i think everyone knows those b****es (i'm sorry to name them that but, honestly, they're b****es) that think their group is the best and everyone is scum compared to them and . this is why i separate just fans and hardcore fans.)

so, we were saying this to the others too and some got offended and i understand that because the hardcore fangirl was saying she hated being a fan along with those multifandom fans because they're stupid and she faced a lot of hardships because of them in the past. i know she crossed a line but the girl she was saying this to really was ... something like a b**** (i don't say she's not a real and good fan because she's really nice and such but she gets offended really easily). she was saying that you don't need to know every song and every fact about a group to support them and, yes, that's right, BUT that's not a member of their official fandom. i can support whoever i want and call myself a fan of [insert group name] but it's a whole other thing to stan them so bad to call yourself a/an [insert official fandom name].

i was like this in the past, called myself a best friend, angel and what not and i really regret that because i like a lot of groups but i'm seriously only an INSPiRIT and BESTiny.

the second fanboy then said he isn't a fan then because nothing out of those three points matches with him. it was sad to see him leaving but it was for the better. they were always fighting each other and he always was ranting about t-ara in an inspirit group (and no need to say that two out of us really hate this group).

now that they're gone we're just ten people and really, it's so quiet, i sometimes laugh at that. but i think it's better like this (even though i feel bad towards the fanboy).

i don't want to offend anyone, really. so, please don't get offended. i'm sorry.

what do you think about the term 'fan'?
