Hello guys! I know I'm a newbie in this site, but I've observed some fics(including my own) and found some advice for myself, but I think it's not good to only keep it for myself, so I'll tell you.

What's your main purpose of posting your fanfic in this site?

1. You want to be famous

That means you want to be known by as many as people in this fic world, and I think you can't just post a superb fic (write it with unusual topic, but keep it logic, and this is the most important) but you have to befriend with some 'famous' writers too. And don't forget to ask them to promote your story beside your own promotion.

2. You want a billion people to read your fic

This is a bit different with the first point, because your target is probably to get a featured fanfiction. You have to make a fic with famous cast and genre, such as EXO-romance, SNSD-fluff, etc, but keep away from famous storyline (I mean mainstream and common storyline).

Because, I got it from my own experience. I posted a Boyfriend's-Youngmin-casted fic and it just got 1 subscribe and no upvotes, but some days ago I posted an EXOYul fic and it reached >10 subscribe, hundreds views and >5 upvotes. Yeah I know it's not a big amount but still, for a new author like me it's amazing. And it makes difference.

3. You just want to put your fic somewhere better than left untouched in your PC folder

Just go on with your wildest ideas because you wouldn't mind whether you get a lot of views subscribes and upvotes or not.

Hahahaha that's all. I didn't mean to be big-headed or act like I'm the best in writing fic. I just want to share about my thought.
