                        APPEARANCE ♡ sunhee’s natural hair color is black (big surprise there), but she died it brown for debut. her eyes are a really dark brown, almost black, with really short eyelashes. she is 169 cm tall, and she weighs 52 kg, a healthy weight for a girl of her height. she has both ears pierced once, and she has three birthmarks; the inside of her left elbow, beside her right knee, and on her neck.

  but looks aren't everything。

PERSONALITY ♡

                        sunhee is a very sympathetic person. she always lends a shoulder to cry on, and loves giving out advice. because she can sympathize with people, she can look at things from diferent perspectives, and is usually very open-minded. because she is sympathetic, she doesn’t judge a person until she knows them. she is usually a quiet girl, but she loves to laugh with her friends. she is very motherly and protective over her friends and loved ones. if you mess with one of her girls (or boys) then she’s out to get you. When people first meet her she doesn’t talk to them much, but she’s polite. after you get to know her you find that you can trust her. sunhee is a quiet girl when she’s around strangers, but she likes to share her opinion with people she can trust.

(+ sunhee can handle personal matters and emotions very well. usually she is the one to comfort a friend if they’re upset (which is why people think she’s motherly).   she’s good with children because she can understand them well, having two younger siblings and being the oldest in her family. she is very independent and doesn’t need someone to take care of her. she gets easily annoyed if someone thinks she can’t take care of herself. sunhee doesn’t talk a lot, but she isn’t someone who never speaks. she wants to be a role model for kids. she wants to be trustworthy and doesn’t spill secrets. despite people trusting her, she only trusts those closest to her. she led a calm life so far, and she doesn’t want it to get too exciting. she isn’t an adventure-loving person, and prefers a tranquil life. her only ‘adventures’ are the various hobbies she tries.

(-) despite her good qualities, sunhee isn’t perfect. one of her flaws is that she is unforgiving. with her you have one chance almost all the time. if you break her trust, you’re not going to get it back. you have to be careful around her (and the people she loves). she tends to overthink things a lot, which ends up wasted up time, no work getting done, and a rushed finish product. she is quite impatient, and she hates waiting. she isn’t persistent, and gives up after a few tries. she gets bored of things easily, and she doesn’t mind change. sunhee can never stick to one thing and has a lack of commitment. her impatience and lack of persistence go hand-in-hand.

(-) sunhee is really picky (or finicky).she demands that she has to make a decision, and takes a long time doing it. She’s indecisive too, so she tries to include everyone’s opinions. she is inconsistent and has no consistency in her life. she’s fussy and worries a lot. and no matter how hard she tries she gets jealous really easily. of those who beat her, who are better than her, who are on the same level. she tries not to hate them too much, but sometimes she has to quit because she isn’t persistent, and she’s jealous everyone’s doing it better than her. sunhee gets bored of things easily, always changing, which annoys people. she’s tried numerous hobbies and jobs, but almost none stick around. it seems that she’s rarely passionate about anything enough to commit to it. the only exceptions are singing and dancing, along with a few other choice hobbies. she is always changing her mind. because a lot about what she likes and dislikes changes, her friends have to be very wary not to upset her. they communicate a lot, and sunhee can be a little clingy, asking where they are and if they’ve eaten. uually people don’t mind her motherly ways, but sometimes it gets a little annoying.  

to recap, sunhee is a quiet girl who speaks when she has something to say. she  tries to not judge people. She is impatient and hates commitment, because she always changes her mind. despite that, she takes care of the people she loves and helps them out in times of need, having two younger siblings. you can always count on her to remember the homework and remind you, or give you a shoulder to cry on and advice on how to fix it. however, she gets jealous easily, and her motherly nature can make her fussy and clingy. she is hardly ever consistent, and is very picky and indecisive. you have to be very careful around her because of her sharp memory and lack of forgiveness.                

  dig a little deeper。

PAST ♡ may 5, 1995, jung sunhee was introduced to the world on a sunny day. her mother died a few hours after giving birth, leaving her father, jung hwansuk, alone. the two were fine for a while, until in 1995, jung hwansuk was married to an architect, lee mihyun. sunhee sang at their wedding, and mihyun adored her voice, so she sent her daughter off to vocal lessons in the start of 2000. 

 

her vocal lessons continued until 2002, when the twins were born. jung myungdae (older by two minutes) and jung myungki. the lessosn were cancelled to save money and sunhee resented her brothers for that, them getting all of her parents attention.  however one day when the two of them wouldn't stop crying her parents asked her to help them. really, sunhee was seven and all she could do was sing, so that's what she did, and they stopped crying. 

 

mihyun went back to work in another four years, and eleven year old sunhee took care of her brothers most of the time. myungdae, dae, and myungki, myung. myung was fiercely protective over his shy twin, though much more outgoing. in her studies and preparations for high school while taking care of her brothers sunhee forgot about singing. in 2009 when gee came out, she became an instant fan of girls generation, instantly biased towards the cute girl in heels. she did a few dance covers of their songs, and a few vocal covers too, none of them received any feedback, negative or positive. then when she saw a clip of taeyeon talking about how it felt to be onstage and performing, she decided she wanted to try. 

 

that same year, 2009, she auditioned for yg, since sm's auditions had already passed. being rejected, she went home with a heavy heart. the next year in 2010, she auditioned for sm through everysing and passed, coming in seventh, a low number to be accepted in. trainee days were hard, her being young and all, but figure skating was always there to help release the tension. that, and sunny's aegyo. she started failing school and realized it was all or nothing in vanilla, since she wouldn't do well in the college entrance exams. 

 

                       
 PRESENT ♡ being originally born in seoul, she didn't have to move to the trainee dorms. plus she already lived close to the headquarters. she skipped school sometimes, to the dismay of her parents, and the korean school system was already tough enough, students studying from 4 am to 2 am the next day. sunhee could forget about going to college, and sky? she couldn't even think of sky. her lifestyle includes waking up, juggling school and trainee life, and staying back after practice to sharpen her singing and dancing.

- cats, she really likes cats, but she was never allowed to have one because her dad is allergic
