Keeper's 17 questions for writers (Answered)

1. Do you write stories (or parts of it) everyday? Day or night?

I try to write atleast a little bit every day. I usually write at night from like 2-3am.
2. Do you have any writing rituals? If yes, what are they?

No. I just play video games or chill before I decide that I should write something.
3. Where do you write: MS Word, NOTEPADarrow-10x10.png app, notebook, AFF text editor, Google doc, etc.?

I mostly use the AFF editor but I recently started to use google doc, so that I can write in secret :P
4. Do you start a fic with an outline? If the answer is no, proceed to #6.

No. I just think of a general storyline or plot and then write as I go.
5. Is your outline fixed or a work in progress?
6. How do you know if a chapter is done?

I just kinda feel it out, I try to end on something humorous or unexpected usually, but I try to follow the flow of the chapter.
7. When do you update?

I try to update as often as possible but sometimes school and other things make it harder for me to update as often as I would like.
8. Do you usually write short chapters (<1500) or long ones (>2500)?

I try to write long chapters so that the reader can enjoy the story more and just have more to read. Hopefully that's a good thing :P but I think they usually end up being more of a medium length.
9. Is it a must for your story to have a poster?

No not at all. I think I only have one poster and it is one I made myself, not really all that good, because I suddenly felt the inspiration to do it.
10. What do you usually write in your foreword?

I write just a little bit of an intro to the story so that passing readers can know what the story is generally going to be about before they read.
11. What font do you use? Font size?

I use the default which i guess is 12? when I write but I use 18 when I write my comments at the bottom of the chapter.
12. Do you write stories about your bias?

Yes. Every story I have written has had one of my top 2 in it, but I actually want to write more about groups/idols that aren't as popular.  I don't know much about them so I have trouble trying to stay true to their real personalities :/
13. Which of your fictional characters can you relate to the most? Why?

Most of my fictional characters are based off a combination of myself and a friend, so every fictional character is like a little piece of me... literally... most of the things they do are based off of how I would react or what I do.
14. Have you requested reviews for your stories?

I used to when I had more free time and could write multiple chapters in a few days, but since I slowed down I no longer have one. I don't want to bother people with randomly timed requests for reviews.
15. What are your weaknesses when it comes to writing?

I think my grammar and vocabulary are pretty awful. Writing as never been a strong point so I find myself struggling sometimes to describe something as vividly as I want to since I have such a limited vocabulary.
16. Why do you write fanfics?

I started writing them because I could write about my bias anyway that I wanted, but now I enjoy thinking of different storylines and plots and reading the comments about my fics.
17. Any advice/tips about writing?

I would say to just have fun with it. Even if you don't think that you are good, critiques from the readers and the constant practice will help you get better. So just enjoy yourself!

No one's late ^^ Thanks for answering.

#9 Sometimes, the poster does not match the story at all. Simjangssi reminded me not to judge by its cover ^-^

#15 I think the reader would rather be able to read it than to have to constantly check the dictionary. Simple is beautiful :D But I get what you mean, esp when describing a scene or a moment.

#17 True. Writing is an activity to be enjoyed because it's not that easy to begin with. Having the right attitude makes it easier. Thanks for sharing.
