APPEARANCE — she has a small scar situated at the right side of her cheeks and owns a pair of grey eyes that she usually hides with her long bangs.
EYES — her grey eyes turns into a dark shade of black whenever her thirst for blood intensifies.
BACKGROUND — jae jin was merely five years old when a battle was forced upon them by another clan in hopes of conquering their land, but having one of the most skillful vampires on their land, of course there's no denying that it's a one hundred percent win. although sometimes fate has it's own torturous ways of bringing obstacles in our lives, so at such a young age jae jin watched as the scene of her parents being burnt alive unfold before her eyes, she couldn't really comprehend what happended next for she just found herself covered in blood and standing at the remains of her parents' murderers but then again it was all too late, not soon enough her sister found her weeping at their lost. despite the fact that they have won the war many grieved at the lost of their families, it was an absolute bittersweet triumph. after a month of coping up from their mournings, it was finally decided, as per their ruler's command the laws became more stern and severe punishment awaits to those who violate the law. children ages four to twelve we're sent to military based camps to conduct advance training and education, it isn't really bad as everyone thinks it is parents were still free to visit their children every two times a week. however, jae jin never really liked the camp as every child was afraid of her- she had no friends except for her cousin which was six years older than her, and in addition to that her sister only visited once a week.
It was her thirteenth birthday when she finally graduated from the camp. she thought she knew what being lonely is, that is until she set foot inside their old house. her sister was barely home, there was no one in the house except for a few human maids that she grew accostumed to for they were the only means of companion she could get, especially since her sister locked her up inside the mansion. she never knew why but she guessed that she blames her for their parent's death but what could she do, she was merely a toodler at that time. one night, her sister came home pale and hungry. she tried to save them, her only companions but just like everytime it was too late. she found them lying on their own pool of blood, cold and dead. after that a fight broke out between the sisters, and thus resulting to sending the younger sister to her uncle's side (in seoul) claiming that she could not tame a beast that jae jin had became. it was a good thing though that their uncle is such a softhearted man and accepted her with open arms, so at the age of sixteen she was finally pulled out of her own little hell hole and into the society she never knew existed.
PERSONALITY — "I hate it when people ask too much" secretitive. that's what jae jin is, she never really liked sharing information about herself either be it personal or in general. she loathes the fact that people would take advantage of her weaknesses just because she put her defenses down. people would always tell her how stiff she is and how she needs to have fun, but how could she? when she doesn't even know what 'fun' is. ever since she was a child battle strategies and practicality were drilled down her brain. her peculiar childhood was one she would never be proud of ergo, explains her indifference towards children for she and the kids would never work out.
"I can talk communicating is just far too complicated" living in a civilized town jae jin was expected to be ladylike and sophisticated when in reality she is the exact opposite, interacting with people other than her family had made her usually straight mind a jumbled mess. she doesn't mean to be impertinent or rude with her short response and lack of reaction but jae jin doesn't really go well with a crowd of people she doesn't know. and sometimes she just tends to need her alone time as she easily gets overwhelmed by the attention. call her an introvert but that's just the way how she rolls.
"I don't even know who myself is" having her cousin as the representative of their clan is proving to be a pain in her , especially since jae jin never really liked attention and having those silly guards following her around just because she was the cousin of the successor is quite annoying. but jae jin couldn't actually voice her thoughts out, in fear that her sister and uncle might disapprove of her behavior and with that notion in mind she kept shut and learned how to put an off switch to her emotions. consequently, she never had a chance to know her real self where she could express her thoughts freely without anyone scrutinizing her every move. It was like she had been living her whole sixteen years of existence as a mere puppet, where everything she does and think is always dictated.
"even I get scared of the things I can do" she could still remember how her parents took extra good care of her when she was a child. how she could never go out and play with the other toodlers, how she could never talk to anyone other than them. she never knew why until the day she lost control of herself and killed her parent's murderers came. whenever her emotions got the best of her, jae jin's whole rational mind would shut down and let's just say all hell would break loose, she never know what happens when her dark side consumes her but shes' got an idea that it is an appaling sight to behold. i guess that's why she's so withdrawn, she's far too frigthened to lose control of her self that she thought it was better that it should be locked up where she could hold dominance against.
"an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth" loyalty. one of jae jin's most precious forte, if you show her genuine trust then who is she to deny it? although sometimes she might struggle to show you her true emotions but once she gave her trust to someone, her loyalty and dedication to that person would be difficult to discrete. but becareful for once you break her trust, you will never be able to earn it again.
