Sooyeon is a happy and active girl,tough on the outside soft in the inside.She always do weird things and fools around with people around her.Sometimes when her members are feeling down or sad,she tries her best to make her members crack up or smile again.Sooyeon really love the fact that people are laughing whenever she did a gag body or a joke because the smiles on people's face makes her feel confident and gives her courage to perform on stage.She is very clumsy and naive but she is good at sports,she practices her taekwondo skills very hard and fix up her mistakes eventhough she will fall a lot of times.She loves soccer a lot besides taekwondo,she used to play soccer with Sehun and her younger brother after school while namjoo is just sitting under a tree watching them play.Whenever she feels down or sad,she'll sing to let go of her stress.She loves singing a lot because singing expresses how she feels,she's passionate about it.She is a big fan of Girls' Generation's Taeyeon ever since she first saw her sang on television.She is kinda blur and she would easily spaceout a lot.

She is quite a hardworking person when it comes things that she likes to do.She always tries to do her best and wants to a worldwide star thinking that it would make her parents who are not alive anymore proud of her.Sooyeon also has this negative side of her,she overworks herself too much until on that certain day she fainted.She is hotheaded,so she can get mad very easily if someone annoys her too much and sometimes she accidentally scolded someone who did not do anything to her.She is too negative about herself and sometimes her thought of giving up on her dreams.Something did stop her from giving up and that is when she saw her grandparents were working hard to support the family,she felt sad in fact she burst into tears when she saw that since she is a softy heart.

background: 
Sooyeon had a happy family until they were torn apart when her parents died in a car accident while she was 7 and her brother was 5.After their parents were already buried,their grandparents took them home to live with them.Sooyeon wanted to move on for a better life so she started to get interested in music when she was 10,she also got interested in singing when she saw Girls' Generation’s Taeyeon sang on the television.So she practiced and practiced really hard to be a great singer,she practiced so hard until she has a sore throat and sometimes she loses her voice.Sooyeon grew up to be someone who is passionate at singing and a few sports,her looks weren't bad too.She knew the fact that what she was doing is worth it and it really was worth it when one of JYP Entertainment's Staff was offering her to join the audition at his company after quiting at SM Entertainment.She went for the audition and luckly she got accepted.She told Sehun and Namjoo all about it and they were happy that she got into a company just like them.When she got back home,she told her grandparents that she got accepted.Her grandparents can't express how happy they were and told her that they support her dream.That is when her life as a trainee started.
