personality: 

skye knows she's good and isn't afraid to show it. she isn't afraid of what other people think of her. she doesn't care if other people don't like her. she is who she is and nothing can change that. her confidence can sometimes bite her pompous little because people view it as arrogance but it's only because she has such a strong foundation of who she is. she isn't afraid to show the world her true colors or her opinions. she is extremely outspoken because of her confidence in herself. this characteristic often gets her into many debate-type arguments because she won't back down from her own opinions.

she isn't the type to listen to other people's suggestions and more than often just goes with her gut feeling. she thinks she knows best. she doesn't want other people to control her. she is in control of her own life, and no one else. she doesn't like getting help from others. this stems from the fact that her father left her family and because her field of dance is so dominated by males. she thinks accepting help from others is a sign of weakness but she is out to prove that she isn't some helpless little girl. she can take care of herself. 

being in just a duo with her brother has prevented her from being able to trust others. the two have tried before to add other members to their "crew" but every single time they were backstabbed by the new recruits when they left the team for some other group. skye doesn't trust anyone but her family. at the same time, she doesn't let that show. she knows that the best place to keep her enemies is right under her nose so she keeps a strong front and makes "friends" with everyone she meets. she gains the trust of other people but doesn't trust others in fear that they would backstab her.

in order to appear approachable to gain other peoples' trust, she acts extremely outgoing and is usuallt the person that would initiate conversations with others. she is usually the center of the conversation, always making other people laugh with her sarcastic sense of humor and her witty comebacks. she has mastered the art of being a person that people wnat to be around while masking what she really thinks about them. 

the one thing that breaks apart her confidence is her brother. she is constantly searching for her brother's approval of things and the only reason her confidence is built up to the point that is is is because he expressed to her how proud he is of her. however, without that assurance, skye would be completely lost.

likes:

video games/rpgs (she's a completely geek when it comes to that stuff)

junk food (she burns all the fat a calories during practice anyway)

hip hop (blame her brother. her fave k-artists would def be tiger jk, tasha, bizzy, supreme team, dok2, and epik high)

jazz music (that's really where she finds her roots in dance and feels most comfortable. jazz has much more of a groove to it. modern contemporary is more sharp and controlled)

dislikes:

judgemental people (she doesn't really like people in general but she hates them the most)

aegyo (don't even get her started)

healthy food/diets (she doesn't care about how she looks. just let her live her life)

dresses/skirts (don't even try)

hobbies:

watching anime/cartoons (she's a huge avatar freak and loves legend of korra)

playing hockey (one thing she hated about cali was the heat so she combatted that by staying in the ice rink)

habits:

rolling her eyes when she disagrees with someone

laughing really loud (sometimes overexaggerated)

being touchy with people/skinship

trivia:

she only eats green m&ms and gummy bears because green is her fave color

she can b-boy but doesn't do it much because she thinks it's overrated. she'll only show other people that she can b-boy at the very end to surprise them.

background:

skye's father left her family when she was about 5 so her older brother stepped up to be the father of the family. Skye grew up in awe of her older brother. despite him being only two years older than him, she looked at him as if her was a god. at the age of 12, he got into the dance crew in his school which specialized in hip hop. skye looked up to him so much that she found a love for dance after he did. she started taking jazz classes in hopes of being as good of a dancer he was. 

when he wAS A SEnior in high school and she was a sophomore, they decided to sign up for the school talent show together, in honor of harry's last year. with her background in jazz and his in hip hop, the two found out that they were a better pair together rather than being separate. they found a newfound love in modern, contemporary dance and weren't going to go back.

since that day, they never separated until harry got married at 28 and decided to stop dancing so that he could settle down for his family, leaving skye on her own. unlike harry, she was sure that she wanted to dance for the rest of her life and was not willing to give it up.

how long have you been dancing?:

i've been dancing since i was 10 so that's like, i dunno, 16 years? 

how did you find out about this audition?:

my mom was watching her korean channels on cable and i was with her because i was bored. then i saw that ad thingy and was all like "what the hell. why not?" so yea.

How much do you want to win?:

i really just want to prove to myself that i can make it even without my brother alongside me because i know i can. i just want to see it actually happen.

what will you do with the money if you win?:

truthfully? i don't care about the money.  i could do whatever the hell i want with the money and it wouldn't matter. i haven't even thought about it.  i'm not in it for that.  

what company would you like to be in?:

i don't really know a whole lot about the companies because that's not really my thing. if i could, i woud def stay as a freelancer within the industry but i guess if i had to, i would choose yg because they're the ones that would probably mess with my style less.
