One-shot (?)

WooU One-shot

The once blue sky had turned grey as dark, grey clouds filled it, dulling the atmosphere that surrounded. Somehow, the children all around were seen to be enjoying it, bright smiles plastered to their faces.

One snowflake.

Two snowflakes.

Soon enough, snowflakes began to drift down to the earth, covering it up with the soft, white snow. Umbrellas were opened up by pedestrians who seem to enjoy the leisurely walk through the streets; some of them observing the playful children sledding down the snow-filled downhill road.

It was a sight that would always manage to make a smile creep up her face as happy memories came back to flood her mind. Winter was definitely her favourite season of the year.

From the corner of her eye, Jieun could spot some movement from her left side. She knew all too well who it was but pretended to be oblivious of her surroundings to add in the fun.

There, hiding behind a thin, tall street lamp was the man whom she would always and forever love with all her heart. He could be a little childish at times and today was not an exception. Today was their 2 year anniversary. Although, it seemed like only yesterday they had their first kiss.

Jieun knew that their love story was not as great as those in dramas or fanfictions where the girl gets her perfect guy in the end after going through conflictions with the families, bullies and so on. They were just one of the normal couples who you see everyday walking along the streets. His confession to her was not so grand; just a simple 'I love you' and a bouquet of red roses on a snowy day. But that was all it took for her to accept it.

Hands suddenly came into view as it pressed gently against her eyes, covering them up from the sight of the streets. From the shape and texture of the hands, plus the smell of the woody aqua of his cologne, Jieun could already guess who the person was.

"Who is this?" The husky voice of the male asked, his breath tickling her ears as he spoke.

"Taecyeon?" She guessed, knowing fully that it was wrong. There's no fault in teasing him, right?

Abruptly, she was turned around to look into familiar brown orbs that twinkled even though his lips were set to a pout. Jieun gave him a wide grin as she touched the tip of his nose with her index finger; a habit since 2 years of dating.

"No fair. You always say his name. Did you forget my name?" He said, the pout still lingering on his face.

A giggle escaped her lips, "Of course not, oppa. How could I forget it? You're my boyfriend." She said as she placed a soft kiss on his left cheek.

The male's eyes curved upwards to form crescents as he smiled, a faint blush forming on his cheeks from the sudden peck. "Then, say it." A smirk replaced his growing smile.

"Huh? Oh, Youngie." She answered effortlessly, her rosy cheeks lifted up as she smiled.

"No, say my real name." He repeated as he looked into her eyes.

Jieun glanced to her left and right, checking her surroundings. After 2 years, she still couldn't call him by his real name. For all her years, since they were little, she couldn't say it. He was her 'Youngie' and calling him by his real name was too embarrassing for her.

A sudden kiss on her lips surprised her. Her round eyes getting rounder as she stared at the man in front of her.

"It isn't so hard, Jieun." He said as he captured her lips again. He knew that Jieun was not really fond of kissing on the lips in public. It had been her weakness since... forever.

After he released her, he could see the red blush onher already rosy-enough apple cheeks.

"F-fine." She said, obviously embarrassed by the sudden PDA. The kisses he gave never failed to bring sparks in her stomach. "W-wooyoung o-oppa."
