Dreams that are crushed

My dreams are crushed. My parents don't approve of it and they refuse to let me do anything that is Korean related. My dream is to be a Kpop Idol and I'm not allowed to. It's been with me for years now so I can't just give up on it. Even my Exo and BTS posters that hang on my wall are a big issue. Honestly, my dad doesn't care since I'm a daddy's girl but my mom lectures me about it all the time. How am I suppose to achieve something I've always wanted to do now? Should I disobey, because it's obvious that I won't quit from convincing them. Note that my mother is racist even though we are also asian... Yes, it's possible. My ethnic is Hmong, a type of asian that's close to Chinese and Thai. It's complicated but I'm still going to go for my dream. No matter what challenges it brings me.

Life's too short to not chase after happiness. You should live your life according to your desires, you can listen to people advices but in the end the choice is yours. Think about it : "why do I want that ? " "Will it really makes me happy ? " Because to achieve success ( whatever your definition is) you need to fight, it's never easy and you'll probably have to give up on some things ... Just think :" Is it really worth it ?" I know how much it hurts to see your dream being crushed, hopefully I'll never give up. Fighting ! The choice is yours !
( Making choices and being responsible, that's what adulthood is about ^^)
