MOTIVATIONAL POST FOR WRITERS - School/Work vs Hobby writing

I've been thinking about this for quite a while and honestly I don't know which is worst, having no time to write stories, having writing blocks that leave you dumbfounded about how to continue your work or just being so busy but yet getting all these ideas yet you have no time to pen down the thoughts.

Us authors in AFF really feel the burden behind the screens, typing, having our own lives, always trying to post chapters(legit ones, not just teasers or such) that live up to our reader's expectations and at times, it can be a bit too much. So much that authors start to go on hiatuses, they leave, or just abandon ship altogether. I wouldn't blame them, I did so for many months, then came back, then went off again, then came back yet again. In all my years being here, with this being the second account while the first disintergrated with a forgotten username and password, I think I can safely say that if you perserve in your writing here, you can do anything, anywhere.

Literally.

Most of us who do write here, write for the fun of it, no boundaries are held because for heck, it's a story and stories are meant to be insane, illusional and out of this world, sometimes normal but yet at the same time, never really.

And because you soak yourself in creative thinking and writing, we allow ourselves to push ourselves to however we can write, when we can write, within a certain period of timeframe.

Don't ever beat yourself over the inability to post a good chapter, or posting it late. Quality over quantity, I say. And yes, undoubtedly, authors always beat themselves up over a previous story where we go, "Oh hell I never want to read that thing I wrote!", or better yet, "I should just delete that story off the face of earth to save myself the embarrassment."

But don't.

Because everything you write, or that you've ever written, is part and parcel of what shapes your writing today.

I think because I'm stuck with my stories and how I'm writing it, I just want to give a bit more push to the other writers out there. Don't give up, even if it takes days, months, for you to write a chapter. You'll find that day when everything just comes and you'll be furiously typing away at your keyboard.

Yeah.

Love you guys.

You are my spirit animal I swear (or tomato, if they have one) like I've been thinking about how much I want to write but yet school is taking up all of my time and when I finally get to write, I have no energy left anymore. But thanks for the motivational post senpai ;u;
