Okay, so (seriously lol I just about start every single blog post off mine of this way, also I had no idea what to name this so uh,)

I very rarely find myself gravitating toward AFFconfessions, but sometimes, I do go and I like to just scroll and read the opinions and what not. This blog post will address some of the opinions as some of them are relevant to my own works.

First and foremost though: I am a very laid back person, if you have an issue with me, my work etc. I’d like you to cometo  me (pm if you don’t feel comfortable with wall posts) rather than go announce it anonymously (not that this has been done, but y’know, for future reference). I’m not going to get mad at you if you have a suggestion or something, but if you do message me with nothing but hate mail then I’m going to ignore you; because let’s be honest, life is too short for that kind of thing.

Subscribers only: Why do I put my fics as subscribers only? It’s quite simple really, I was actually having a small conversation about this with one of my readers, who is also an author on AFF (if you end up reading this don’t think this is directed towards you, it’s not) but it’s what makes me feel comfortable. No one is forcing you to do anything, so if you have a problem with SO stories then move along, bye. Yes, people can subscribe, read it, steal my work and then unsubscribe, sure- but why not make it a little more difficult to do so? (i.e no text selection, members only, subscribers only). I don’t much care for karma points, nor the amount of subscribers (not that I don’t appreciate it but..,) I write for me. Not for comments, subscribers and upvotes; all are welcome but definitely not expected.

Not responding to comments: To be honest, I’m an awkward human being therefore when I see comments I find them awesome but I’m sitting here like ‘OTL what do I say back’. But if it’d make you all feel better, I can work on this, I can start trying to respond (I respond sometimes ._.). I really do appreciate and read every single comment, don’t think I don’t. I appreciate my silent readers as well.

On-going fictions and posting when I have, like, a million other to finish etc.: Guess what? As I’ve said before, I write for me. If I want to post a new story I’m going to post a new story and no one can stop me. It’s my choice, not yours. I will finish my work when I choose to, I will write when I choose to. Readers really have no right to demand anything from authors here on AFF; we’re doing this as a hobby, as something we enjoy doing, it’s not our jobs and readers don’t and never will control what we do(oh, but don't think I mind when people comment 'update soon' that's fine, go right ahead). Or at least, that’s how it is for me. I appreciate all my readers, but I really appreciate when they have patience. Also, the reason I write EXO/SUJU is because that’s who inspires me at the moment, in the future I may write other fandom fics (because let’s be honest, I’m a fandom junkie). If you don’t like who I write about, boo hoo, I do so move along.  

Advertising: On walls, on the advertising bids, etc. Can I just ask, okay, no really; I don’t understand it when people say things like ‘taking up wall space’ /falls over. It’s not like you’re going to run out of wall space LOL so who cares if someone advertises their story on your wall? Also, I advertise because why not get my stories out there? I mean, yeah, I may not be a fabulous writer (in fact I need a lot of work) but what the hell, I’m proud of my writing. So I want my babies to shine :) and if people subscribe, well that’s wonderful, if they don’t oh well, that’s life. (My wall is private because I sometimes have conversations with people on it but if you guys have friended me feel free to advertise on my wall!)
