Fan art or school work ?

Hi ...

... Since one o clock I've been painting  with watercolours without taking a break cuz I wanted to finish the ones I've started ..... Finished round about seven ish when my mum called me to eat ...

So I was reading brokenhope blog which you can check here

http://www.asianfanfics.com/blog/view/915677

and she posted her picture which she did with watercolours which she had just finished with watercolours and asked for feedback ....

so basically my older brother said the red painting looks kinda like kai from exo and he showed it to his friend who said it looks like vixx hongbin ....l

it was actually for my school work .. But now that my brother said it looks like kai .. I think it kinda does at an angle .. It was kinda hard for me to take picutre cuz the light kept flickering so I apologise for the bad quality .....

Anyway the next picture is also for my school work .. By the way my theme is disguise ....

So then my brother came down later and said it looked like another kpop idol which he couldn't remember the name of .. And then he showed me picture of 2ne1 minzy and It seemed like I drew what she was wearing .....

So I keep the questions use them for school work or keep them as fan art ...??

I also appreciate any feedback ..

this is the picture my brother said the bottom painting looked like

I really think the second one looks like minzy a lot~
Personally, I think that fan art can become school work, depending on how confident you are with it and with yourself. I don't like showing my fanart to people who actually know me in real life, because it's something personal. But if you're comfortable doing that, then just do it.

If I use too much water I think you use a little bit too little d: it really helps to have a large glass of water next to you. Though most people don't use as much water as I do, it helps with the blending of the colors in a natural way. Also, if the surface of the paper is watery, if there's an area that needs stronger colors you can do something I call "color infusion" where you just take a huge dab of paint that's already runny and add it there. The watery surface will let the pain blend on it's own.

They're good, though ^^
