Controversial Debut (Red Velvet)

So lately I haven't been on and I have been anticipating the Red Velvet debut for Happiness. So today,  or right now, I have watched their performances and watched the music video. I really like it! Most of it. Some phrases were egotistical. I get it though. In Korea, they usually tend to want more money and yeah yeah yeah, who doesn't?

After a bit of looking around at different websites and blogs, I saw that there was different controversial problem with Red Vevlet but not a lot of blogs gave me insight into how people were feeling. It just stated the same facts over and over again.

The logo. The logo was said to look almost the same as the logo for an Italian luggagcompany. (Forgot the brand, sorry.) They do look the same. The luggage company in blocky and Red Velvet looks thin and more curvaceous. I did see that none of the companies said anything about this issue. You would think one of the best companies that created the best artist would have looked into logos and honestly, the way the logo looks does look unoriginal. Take After School for example. I do get it is After School Anarchy or whatever but I hav anarchist friends who know the type of music I like. I like all types by the way. Anyway, they don't like the use of the logo. Since it isn't't a company or official organization, they can't claim it. Anarchist say it is "a way of life" and the symbol is just the unofficial logo that they can patch onto their punk clothing.

Maybe they were rushing the whole debut, especially after f(x)'s debut a month ago. Now I see Sulli is taking a break from her singing for a short while. All around the same time. My head is spinning.

Controversial issues regarding racism against Japanese. The Japs are offended by one of the scenes from the MV that seemed like it was regarding the bombing. I did not see that and had to watch a few other times to finally catch it but it happens so fast. I do believe when they said the directors used collages in the background and didn't mean anything. After all, Indestructible by SNSD came out and is in Japanese. I do think SM should be extra careful since a lot of things have come there way (they did it themselves. Just saying) A bunch if controversial issues. It is way too much too take.

They should've waited a while and let everything sink in or die down. Usually SM surprises us with something every month but how many things happened last month! And this month literally just started and BAM! More issues.

Although I love the Red Velvet group and everything, it is just the cherry on top of the cake. ( Bad pun. Don't hurt me!)

Also I heard a lot of people don't like the group at all. What do you think?
