Background— Chanhyuk is the only son of Kim Yeongja but when he was 3 yeard old his mother married a man named Kim Soohyun with a daughter and like Chanhyuk mom who her husband dead the same happened to Mr. Kim, and now he has a younger sister that he's really close to her and he'll never let anyone touch her because he think she's still too young and innocent and they'll hurt his innocent sister or at least that what he think.

Chanhyuk grew up in Gangnam people think usually just reach people live there but he was only a normal kid it just happened that his step-father have to live here because of his job, He had a habit of protecting people he like even if it was dangerous for him ,he always got into troubles because he was trying to protect his friends and sometimes really big troubles with school that his teacher call his mother , his mother always scolded him for acting like that.

When he was in 9th grade his family had to live out in Osaka because of his father work he hated the idea that he'd leave without his friends Dongsung and Jaehyun he even cried but his mother cant leave him here alone so she bring him with her, because he didnt know Japanese he kept quiet the whole time there ,but then when he entered school there a lot of girls tried to get close to him and i think it's the reason why Chanhyuk act like girls sometime.

After he came back to Korea Chanhyuk thought it's the time to tell his mother that he want to be an idol he had always dream of singing and dancing on stage but he was scared of his mother ,he told her finally and she was against it first but then she said to him it was his life and let him do what he want ,he showed his dancing and singing skill to YG and they accpeted him although he lack in some places.
