» Miyun isn't one of the first members you would notice amongst the group, She's is more so active behind the scenes. Miyun is extremely careful with her words, she has a large vocabulary and will use it. She has a strong sense of empathy, in which allows her to understand others well. Miyun loves to read, you wont see her without a book, she is always carrying one around. She prefers paperbacks over any other kind, just because they are more portable. She is extremely down to earth, and fairly humble, though she'll occasionally joke about being arrogant. She is cunning, and will use it to her advantage. Being empathetic, she can read people well, and manipulate them if needed. She is a dangerous player in any game, Her friends in Japan always said that she would be the most likely to be the head of some sort of orginized crime.
On stage, and to others who don't know her well, Miyun could be seen as graceful and elegant, everything she does is well thought out, but to her fans, members and close friends, she's a graceful dork. With her thoughtful nature comes her hard work. Miyun is extremely hardworking. She wants to achieve perfection, and will work until she gets it. An obsessive perfectionist is what the other members often call her. often she will stay at rehearsals to perfect the dances and even work on some others so she seems well rounded. She is extremely schedule oriented, and will rarely deviate from it. Everything is planned, every word, step, glance, smile, ect. until the cameras are off and she is by herself. Rarely ever is she relaxed around cameras, she is very shy around them, preferring to divert the attention to one of the other members. When the cameras are off is where you'll see the graceful dork. She is described as a puppy, cute and cuddly. Miyun loves skin ship, and you can see that anywhere, on or off camera, it is just more obvious off camera. It calms her down to know that somebody else is around her. Like an anchor. She isn't necessarily the funniest in the group, but she loves word play, playing with words. Most of her wit comes from that, which is why she has some pretty awesome one liners. With her father being a politician, she obviously is a very good speaker, getting it from him. She is an amazing story teller, whether they be made up or just incidents from the past, she can have you hanging on the edge of every word she says. She is very much an introvert and needs time to recharge, she can only be around so many people before she feels exhausted. To put it simply, Mi Yun has the INTJ type personality. » Miyun was born on December 3rd, 1992, The eldest daughter to Cho Young Sik and Cho Eun Sook. With Miyun's father working in the ministry of foreign affairs and trade, there was a lot expected from her. She was raised to be perfect, there was no other options, because the cameras are always watching. In 1994, when her sister was born, she was jealous at first, she had her parents attention to herself and now she has to share. But she quickly came to realize that it was easier to live with a little sister, the attention would be on her for a while. In 1997, one year after their second daughter, Cho Mi Kyung was born, they moved to the united states, more specifically Alexandria, ia. Miyun attended a privet school while she lived in the states, she was after all a daughter of a politician. At the time, only her father and Miyun were able to speak english, so it was Miyun's job to translate when her mom took them out without her father. Mi Kyung was too young at the time. In 2001, They moved again, all the way to Taiwan. Both the korean government and her parents didn't feel it would be safe to stay in the US at the time. She was enrolled into another privet school, this time and international one. She didn't know any mandarin at thte time and her parents wanted to keep her english skills at a good level, With english being one of the most spoken languages, it would let her have a good job. She didn't have much of a chance to practice mandarin, with everyone wanting to try their english skills around her, being taught in english, and speaking korean at home, the only time she got to speak was when she went out and in her mandarin language classes. Late 2004 was when she and her family moved again, this time to Tokyo. Mi Yun thrived in Tokyo. She made friends, picked up on the language quickly, and started learning guitar. Her friends were really into music, and she wanted to join them. She had always enjoyed singing, but they already had a singer, they needed somebody to play guitar, which was to be her job. She would harmonize and help improve her friends vocals, all will working on her guitar skills and singing as well. In 2007, she went with her friends to a BoA concert, and fell in love with music all over again. She wanted to have a career in it, and nothing was going to stop her. In 2011, Her father retired from his position and they moved back to Korea. That was also when she told her parents she wanted to pursue music as a career. It took half the year to have her father give his permission. He wanted her to continue in his footsteps, be a politician as well. But being constantly persisted about it nonstop. He gave her a year to audition and get accepted if and only if she continues her education. She attended any and every audition she could at the time without missing school. She auditioned for The Voice of Korea in early 2012, and actually made it into the competition by singing Devil's Cry (Taeyeon) With Kangta as her coach she made it three rounds before being elimanated, but was contacted by Chrysler Entertainment a few months after she was eliminated saying that they were interested in her joining the company. She gladly complied, and went through the audition process.

» Miyun is wary about Jaejoong. Heechul is a big brother to her, somebody she trusts, but she's only just getting to know him. The fact that he is going to enter the military some time soon makes her wary. She finds him attractive, and she likes his personality. But she doesn't want to jump into something. She is careful around him, only after constant reminders from both him and heechul that she doesn't have to be formal around him. She still forgets sometimes, calling him Jaejoong-ssi instead of Jaejoong oppa. Jaejoong has similar feelings, he doesn't want to move to fast, especially since he has to enlist. He's considerate of her, though he has some on and off days. Theyre just casual friend, rarely ever will she go out and met him by herself, until she starts to know him better. With the encouragement of heechul on both sides, Miyun warms up more to jaejoong. They have a weird code when they text each other. Started by Miyun, they talk in a mixture of japanese and korean. She's careful about her image, and his. She knows the stories of the saessangs, she's asked him about it.
after warming up to him and getting to know him more, she's slightly careless when it comes to skinship. She turns more into a puppy, the longer she is around him, and espeically when she is with heechul as well. She doesn't watch many dramas, but will watch the ones with him in it, and text him about it. Going from somebody who was quiet at first, to somebody who would talk more, and even start conversations with him was dramatic improvment. She will take pictures of him, but wont post it unless she's with heechul, just as a percaution. Jaejoong is protective about her, especially around fans. He's careful about it, he doesn't want to scare her off. Whenever the subject about the saessangs are brought up, he asks her to change the subject. He takes precautions, especially when they go out, or are even texting. That's part of the reason he agreed to the code idea. (I don't even know, I kind of rambled here. I hope you understand. Theyre just taking things slow.) HOW WILL THEY MEET / HOW YOU WANT TO MEET
» Anybody would agree that Heechul and Miyun are good friends, but definitely not as good as Heechul and Jaejoong. That's really how they first met. Heechul was constantly nagging at Jaejoong to get married quickly, constantly trying to set him up with girls. It was after her debut that she and Heechul were in a picture together on his instagram, when Jaejoong texted him and asked some questions about her. Heechul got the idea, and introduced the two. Miyun knew who he was, Who in the music scene doesn't know Jaejoong. With Heechul 'chaperoning' they started off as friends. It was a couple meetings like that before they exchanged numbers, and started talking more.
Jaejoong is definitely somebody who believes in first impressions, she didn't talk much at first, Jaejoong did a lot of the talking, but she did ask him questions and answered him. She refuses to participate. She has never attended a recording of the show. She doesn't like how they handle business. It is very shady, and she finds them creepy. If the show had different MC's she would be fine. It is just those two she has an issue with. The company has tried to get her to go, but she refuses, and has gotten in trouble with both the CEO and her manager, but she won't budge. To avoid a conflict, they schedual her around it. Not many people are aware of her dislike of the show, they just find it weird that she is never seen with the group on shows with Defcon and Hyung Don as MCs. – She usually ignores rumors, the company can handle them if they get too serious.

» After being eliminated from The Voice, I had no idea what I was going to do. I knew I was going to have a future in music, but I didn't know if it would be then or in the future. When Chrysler Entertainment contacted me, I was ecstatic to say the least. To be chosen as one of the candidates as well, I was so overwhelmed. It's been something I've been working on for a while. To have the oppourtunity to pursue music as a career, I would be in bliss.
IN YOUR OPINION, WHAT ARE YOUR QUALITIES THAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT FROM THE OTHER EIGHT CANDIDATES?
» As for the other eight, I am not sure. The multi linguity might be a good place to start. nervous laughter Languages are something I find easy, During the voice, the judges complimented me on my international marketablity. Being profiecent in four languages, and a nack at picking up others helps with singing. I have experience in singing on stage and performing. Age? I am an older trainee, which isn't really one of the most desireable things. My sister is getting married soon, she's only 20. But that's what people my age are doing. runs fingers through hair, keeping it off of her face Theyre focused on starting families or working on their careers, while I am still hoping my hard work is paying off. I definitely think that my singing is something that sets me appart. I have a more rock type voice, I lived in Japan for such a long time, it's what I was use to. I have a good technique, I consider myself on par with some of the top singers in Korea. Out of a scale of 1-10 I'd say around an eight or a nine. I don't want to say ten because I still struggle with singing with a risen pallette, some note I still strain on in my upper register and my lower register still needs some work. Sohyang and Mariah Carrey's would be a ten. I'm on a Taeyeon, Hyorin, Ailee level I personally think. More Hyorin that anything else. We both are dancers as well, and excel at it as well. Dancing is something else that sets me apart. Instead of focusing on the hip hop element of dance, I have basics in Ballet, Contemporary, and Jazz. I tend to include those in my routines as well.
I am quieter compared to the other eight, not one to be noticed at first, but I kind of have a surprise element to myself with my experience in the field. On top of that, I already know what it is like in the spotlight, growing up with my father being a government official had its effects on me. Though it's not something I'm too keen on the public being aware of. It has it's perks sometimes. smiles charmingly I'm not use to boasting about my skills. » I'd call my dad, and tell him that I made it. I'd probably cry as well. My dad is my main inspiration to win and to be on the top. He didn't want me to do it, didn't think I'd make it and gave me a year to find a company. With the voice, my mom told me that he cried when I was eliminated, but he wouldn't admit it. I just really want to make my dad proud. And I don't want to be a politican laughs I made a promise with my dad that I would go to college while working. I would get to decide if I made it, but he would chose my major if I didn't. I'm already enrolled into Yonsei University. I am very fortunate to be able to afford to go to a school such as Yonsei.
