Growing up in the ghetto and living with an alcoholic mother, Sora has always been a quiet child. Other children would and call her 'mute', no one had ever heard her speak. Not even the teachers knew how she sounded like. Because of that, she would get calls from the school office about teachers' comments, and that made her mother angry. After years of facing domestic abuse from her mother, Sora finally saved enough money for her flight to boarding school. Although where she lived and how she was treated had scarred her, she promised herself that it was not what made her herself. It was her decisions and her actions. After going to boarding school, many things opened up Sora's eyes. She learned about the real world and learned how to open herself up a little to other people. She thinks and listens more than she speaks. Sora often visited the school psychologist and eventually learned how to forgive her mother, sending her letters weekly and encouraging her mother to get into counseling programs. 

 

Her interest for Forensic Science sparked when her teacher showed a documentary on the topic in Biology. The fact that every single person in the world had a different set of fingerprints intrigued her. It let her know that everyone really was unique in their own way no matter what. But that the majority of the people had the same blood type and could only take in certain blood types. She loved taking the big picture of a crime scene and coming up with possiblities of what the murderer could have done to the victim. Having the ability to approach a problem at many different aspects; discovering these things and analyzing them was what made Sora comfortable and gave her a sense of assurance. So her decision was to major in Forensic Science, so that if anything ever happened she was able to solve things for people. Sora had also chosen to minor in Psychology because she always wondered how people thought and why they thought the way thety did. Why they did this and why they chose that. 

 

Sora is usually a quiet person, often thinking to herself and daydreaming about things. Although she often dazes off in class, she catches on quite fast. And when she speaks she gives that person her full attention. Always a polite woman who knows her manners. People assume most of the time that she is stuck up and is mean, when she's just really an awkward but blunt. She often wonders about herself and tries to come up with a rational reason for her attitude and personality.
