Is it wrong to take up a course you don't like but in the future you can help your family with it?

I stuck in a situation like this. True, I don't like my course. But I don't hate it.

My tongue slip earlier, saying to my mom that I don't like my course and I said I don't have a choice. She took it seriously. She even said I should stop schooling instead of continuing  my studies.

I'm trying to say to her that, its for our future if I graduated with this course (nursing). I'll be able to help them. I have my dream course, yes but I need to be practical.

They don't understand me. I'm trying my best with my studies but they think I'm not taking it seriously.

I just don't know what to do. If I choose my dreams, what will happen in the future? I know if I continue this (nursing course) I'll be able to help them...

If only they understand me ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
