The other day I looked at this story I used to really like and oh my gosh, I cannot even. The protagonist was a classic Mary Sue and the plot just seemed so ridiculous to me - like, how can you find a girl that has 6 guys in love with her? It just doesn't seem realistic. And I know that this is "fiction" but personally, I find it pretty hard to digest. I guess it's because I've extended my reading since then so when I look back, it just makes me facepalm. 

That brings me to another point actually. Why do I find so many stories with the same plot, with the same twists? Examples include: arranged marriages, nerd/kingka, rich jerk/poor damsel in distress, etc. The list is infinite. I don't know if people just do it to feed their inner fan girl/fan boy but it'd be nice to see something that hasn't been done a billion times already in the exact same way. I mean, how about an arranged marriage with one of them being a psychopath instead? It creates a whole new feeling. 

Titles can also be a massive turn off - the ones like "Omo Im married to the jerk jonghyun!?!!" Honestly, when I come across them I just ignore them. Actually, no - I scrunch up my face in disgust and then ignore them. Sorry not sorry.  It's just too predictable and overdone, and let's not even start with the blinding grammatical errors. I understand good titles can be extremely hard to come up with (believe me, I know) but please, please, please do not resort to those crappy ones. You know what I'm talking about. And if you don't have a story with one of those titles, then give yourself a pat on the back!

Okay, I think I've let all of my frustration out. What are the types of stories that make you facepalm?
