SM is at it again...Really, SM? Really?
It is almost midnight here and I can't sleep. I WANT to sleep - my eyes are tired, my body is burnt out, but for god sakes, i can't go to sleep.
Why?
Because I'm mad. So. Mad. And annoyed. And pissed. And also a little sad and very, VERY fed up (is that the same as annoyed?).
It's about the 2014 Asian Games.
Uh-huh. Yeah. That one.
As in the one being held in Incheon. The one which JYJ were chosen as honorary ambassadors for. The one which they had a freakin' theme song for.
The one where SM suddenly decided out-of-the-blue to sponsor the event and (surprise, surprise) JYJ was dropped from all activities, despite being the ambassadors of the event.
SM, I don't know if you know this but ambassador means "representation." As in, ambassadors are supposed to be the ones to REPRESENT the event. As in they're actually supposed to be part of it, not shunned to the side in favor of one of YOUR idols.
Yeah, that's right. Instead of JYJ performing at the opening and closing ceremonies, its gonna EXO. Yeah, as in one of SM's babies.
Oh, and lets not forget the press conference which for some reason, JYJ was NOT present at. In fact, according to CJES, they didn't even KNOW about the press conference. Kinda defeats the whole point of "ambassador," don't ya think?
What really gets me is that SM isn't even trying to be subtle about it now. At least when this whole SM-gonna-try-to-kill-JYJ thing started, they would at least come up with an excuse, however flimsy it was.
Remember when JYJ broke away from TVXQ? SM called them "greedy and selfish" and even had their celebrities parrot those ideas.
And how about when SM got JYJ banned from TV? They got people to say that it was to avoid "unnecessary tension."
But now, its no more explanations, not even a comment. SM just comes in, takes over, and drops JYJ without even a warning. Yet they STILL use their names during the promotion events to get the fans to hack over $900USD for tickets.
Really, SM? Really?
Just how stupid do you think we are?
And didn't SM make a LEGAL promise that they wouldn't do stuff like this anymore? So doesn't that mean that what SM is doing is ILLEGAL? So shouldn't they be even MORE cautious about doing this?
No, because SM is a big brand with big money and big lawyers that can get them out of anything.
And you know what's sad? It's that I KNOW people are still gonna go and watch the Games. Because its EXO. And SNSD. And $900 down the drain if they don't go.
Our poor oppas. Just how much longer are they gonna have to put up with this?
Normally, I'm a middle-ground person. I'm a Libra, okay? It's what we do? I'm one of those people who like to sit back and think "Hey, maybe there was a good reason. Don't be hatin' and choosing sides."
But seriously, there is no good reason for what SM is doing. The only REASON is because SM is petty and hate JYJ for daring to stand up to them and shedding light on their unfair treatment of their idols. Really, its like a petty kid who got his ice cream taken away. It's just so immature and annoying, and it just needs to stop.
I mean...Really, SM? Really?
Ugh. This rant didn't make me feel any better. You know what would make me feel better? If the Asian Game were a big flop and people refused to watch it. God, I would just love to see Lee Soo Man's face when his secretary tells him that his celebrities went onstage and saw nobody. An empty house with empty chairs. Because people just don't want to go to an event run by corrupt people who think they can get away with unjust, unfair, and petty treatment towards other human beings.
But sadly, that won't happen. Sigh...
Hey, a girl can dream, right?
