More like a curiosity.

From what I know being gay in S Korea is not easy, with all the haters and stuff but if this kind of ppl are seen like a bad thing, why are the girls supporting the so called gay couples in kpop? Even get angry if one of them dates a girl? I know for almost everyone they are doing fun service , but why support the idea when it's about idols?

It's just a thing girls (including me) do. Lol.

We support the boy couples because we think they look cute together. Like besties. Not like dating. And people don't mind cute people dating...

But when they date a girl, different story. I guess we call it jealousy. We don't like ten dating a girl. It's because we are girls. Lol.

P.S: You mean guy shippings like: Hunhan (Sehun x Luhan), Taoris (Tao x Kris), or Baekyeol (Baekhyun x Chanyeol)?

Its fangirls mentality. If I can't have that oppa, then other girls can't have them too. Basically, they prefer to 'share' their oppa with other guy rather than sharing him with other girl.

Gay ppl are allowed to get married. It's actually not that hard to be gay in South Korea. My older brother is gay and he is highly respected. He actually has never been in a situation where he was descrimiated for being gay, well once but that was in australia. And anyway my brother has been married to he boyfrined Daniel Shin for 3 years now and he's only 28 so i think being gay isn't that hard. My brother is a successful teacher and his boyfriend is a doctor so i don't think it's that hard to be gay. They show PDA a lot and I think it's cute and everyone here in korean seems to accept it too.

IMHO, I think that those fangirls that get mad just can't wrap around their head that their fantasy is not reality. I ship couples, write stories, but at the end of the day the idols that I write about aren't gay. That's the reality. Tbvh, I highly doubt that there are any idols that are actually gay. So the entire concept of the idols being gay is just an idea conceived by fans. Its fantasy. Unfortunately, some fans just aren't mature enough to understand that events of fantasy need not manifest themselves in reality.

Its like this mentality BUT it doesn't apply to everyone so please don't hate me: If I can't have 'oppa'(an idol), another 'oppa'(Another idol) can have him and we'll be happily ever after~

It most like that they cannot have girlfriend,the fans can support them not bash them when they idols couple if fans can couple why not they idols weird.........
