We've received reports of users experiencing pop-up ads and weird prompts, even site redirects not coming from CloudFlare when logging into Asianfanfics. Please note that this is not addressing the affiliation box over to the left side of the page, nor is it addressing ads you would normally see over to the sides; users have complained of pop-up ads and redirects that should not be appearing on the site.

First and foremost, make sure there is nothing malicious on your computer/phone. Run a virus/anti-malware scan, if possible, and ascertain all is well with your actual device. From there, do the SOP of AFF: clear all cache and cookies and log back into the site.

For any users who have seen this issue, if you could let us know on this blog or in a Private Message (many of us have been on vacation, and are still away so cleaning up the wall posts is a priority), that would be great. If you could also include the following:

- what type of ad/what did the pop-up prompt from you
- a screenshot/screencap of what you are seeing
- browser information (i.e. if you're using Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
- how you are accessing the site (desktop/mobile)
- how long this has been occurring

Any and all of these fields would help us pinpoint the source of the problem much faster =]
