Grounding and it's SO MANY CONS

Well hello there everyone, this is SnowPrince, who would like to say that I'm grounded, and would not be able to take a lot of responses, sequels, oneshots, and update chapters due to an incident.

I'd keep it ambiguous and say that it occurred from a simple facebook post, as shallow as it may sound, it isn't, it involved beliefs (religious and moral ones), family, freedom, which I would talk about in this post.

GROUNDED CONS:

  • -Everyone's eyes are on you.
  • -Every move you make, whether right or wrong, will be criticized accordingly.
  • -You're ot allowed to freely express everything.
  • -It's as if you are on probation, actually, you /are/ on probation.
  • -Technology and Media access are limited.
  • -Period of Computer Use is strictly followed.
  • -You are not in good terms with your family/parents.
  • -Studies are in priority at this era.

One can always experience such experiences, as they are normal in our world, counting every mother and father that only want the best for their children, so it is not a bad thing after all, if you take things in an optimistic manner, but since not everyone is optimistic, let me bring you to their side, so us youth won't be irradical and just consider our own feelings.

POSITIVE POINT OF VIEW:

  • -They want the best for you.
  • -They want you to focus on your studies, for your better future.
  • -They love you so much that they can't stand seeing you take the wrong path.
  • -They don't want you to be like the bigger percentage of the modern youth today.
  • -They are religious, which is a good thing, that you follow a code of moral rules (I'm certain that every religion has a code of right and wrong, correct me if I'm wrong).
  • -It might have happened to your parents when they were still at your age, and knowing the consequences of such actions, they don't want you to go throught the pain of it.
  • -They want to teach you a lesson in life with grounding you from a certain aspect of living.
exempli grati: Your parents lower your allowance by let's say, five bucks. It might seem unfair to you but it's a practice on thrift, for once you learn how to spend less, even after returning the five bucks initially taken away from you, you won't spend as much as you did anymore.

There you go, ladies and gentlemen, I hope that you don't mind me not updating my frickin' fugly fanfics for another three months. I love you everyone. <3
