Personality: Jaehwa is a social butterfly. When it's your first time talking to her, she would try her best to be close to you. Because she's like that, she has many close friends.  She's really fun to be with and she doesn't like it when people around her are bored. She's also very protective over the members. She acts vain for fun but sometimes, she's really unconfident. She likes to hold people's arms and put her arms around people's neck so people ship her with many idols. Family background: Jaehwa is close with her mom as she was with her since she was a child while her dad was in Canada because of his job. Jaehwa used to live with her brother, Taejun and her mom but when she was 7 years old, they moved to Canada because her father misses them. But after 5 years, the family (w/ Jaehwa's father) moved back to Korea. Her family is just like any normal Korean family. Her parents treats and loves Jaehwa and Taejun equally.

Trainee exprience: Jaehwa didn't really wanted to become an idol. She was a girl with no dreams.. life for her was just having fun. But one day, her friend wanted to audition in SM Entertainment and wanted someone to audition with her so she forced Jaehwa to go for the audition. Jaehwa didn't really prepare that much for the audition but since she's talented and good looking, she got accepted.

"You have something in you.. you just have to practice and practice and that something will be in a really good use." that was what one of the judges told her. When she heard that, she suddenly got determined and finally had a dream; to be an idol.

When she was a trainee, her grades didn't really drop. She's still the student who's good in English and Maths so her parents were really supportive of her training to become an idol.
