Is it just me?

I hate when authors/ members on here don't reply to comments, or talk to subscribers. What is the point of even joining then? XD I always hear "to get feedback", or to even just release and express personal writing/ selves.. or even just to meet people. However, why not appreciate people who DO give you feedback? Or someone who just wants to know you, or ask you about your story or writing. I see this all the time on here and it's so annoying to me. XD 

I'm probably the only one who cares OTL. Or that this happens to.

Truth I don't care if they don't talk to me. Personally I'd I read something n I like it I comment. If they ready and like it I am glad even I'd they ready my stories its already making me hapoy

For me, I don't talk to people a lot because of social anxiety. But idk about other people.

I completely understand you, that drives me crazy too. But, I know I have no right to ask this, but, please don't delete your account. I'll understand if you really feel like you must, but you're my closest friend on here (though you probably don't even know who I am).

AFF would be a much duller place without you.

BTW I typed all of this on my crappy phone, and it took 10 minutes, then it deleted my whole comment before I could post it, but I spent another 10 minutes typing this up again.

some authors are just too shy to initiate contact or they don't know what to say. if someone comments on my story, I usually reply with "thanks for reading" or something to that effect because I don't know what else to say, but if I reply "thanks for reading" to every single commentor, it feels kind of... insincere or like I just copy-pasted the reply.

what about when subscribers/readers don't give comment/talk to authors...at all? that bothers me way much more honestly...lol. bcuz for me, authors are already interacting with readers through their writing...but how do readers interact with the writers' writings? and bcuz that happens more i guess...or maybe that's because i don't meet authors who ignore me often since many authors i read n comment to are the ones who aren't too popular...so i don't know...shrugs/...
