To most people who had known Hyerin, they would have known how this girl had been, how cheerful and outgoing she is until that day that rip of everything came into her peaceful life. It had changed her completely though, from that friendly girl next door to the quiet and timid lady that hates every kind of attention people can give to her.
She may had her own flaws of some kind, rather than being those who keeps thinking for logical and rational reasons, Hyerin just settles down with being a girl that follows her heart more than the kind of girl that follows her head. Not that she is an airhead of course. Never say that. She is not stupid. She just prefers her intuition more than she used her logical thinking that is. And probably that is the main reason why she seems to know what people is thinking all the time even when they are lying to her or hiding things from her knowing. Her new life, especially after knowing who she really is had made Hyerin a somehow rather quiet person. She prefers not talking to people and hearing her voice across the room, that is truly not her. Especially to be in the center of attention. The trauma after knowing what had been her worse nightmare, the truth she had so desperately tried to hide from others. Maybe that is why she prefers to stay in the shadow of the darkness a lot.
Unlike other girls around her age that really seems bubbly and very active, Hyerin on the other hand is the total opposite of that. It wasn't that she is passive and fierce though, the kind that is always releasing her tempers on others like some kids her age. She is like the calm wind that blows the skin, the soft waves that come and touch the beach. It was hard for her to lose her temper that even people had called her like some sort of a Buddha monk due to her calm and old-lady like attitude sometimes. Even so, Hyerin had kept this one trait that never seem to be lost despite the fact of what her life had done to her. Her free-spirited view of the world. Probably inspired by her mother of some kind, Hyerin believes in freedom, thinking every single being in this world deserves them. And also the main reason on why she always seems so carefree about almost everything in her life. She believes in peace and kind hearted persons, happiness and miracles. Simply put. She just have an innocent mind that sometimes suits something of an innocent 5-year old kiddo.
Hyerin had never asked for a life like hers. Not that she had hated her life though. She had loved it, every single part of it. Her loved the way how everything around her seems so simple and easy, how it was always full of love and care. Even when it was just her mother and elder brother by her side. She had never even asked where her father is for one second. She never cared about it at all. Her life had been the best time in her life, even if it wasn't the life that is full of wealth like others have. She had loved it the way it is. A painter mother, a mechanic foran elder brother and she, a normal teenage school girl. She never had a single care for what people wanted to talk about her at all. She only needed this to be happy.
Until they decided to take everything from her.
Her life turns upside down when her family was taken in front of her. Right in front of her eyes. She was just a junior high senior when her brother was murdered by some school bullies, making her crazy at that moment. It was just for an instant. A split second thing. But the next time she open her eyes afterwards, everything is already full of crystal shards everywhere, some was stabbed to the dead bodies of the bullies, some hurt her face and wounded them badly. It scares her completely that moment and she had ran away to the dark alleys, only coming back a few days afterwards, changing completely from who she is. It didn't even last long at all. It was only a month afterwards that those men in suits came to her house and rip her away from her mother, causing her mother to turn crazy afterwards and her to be stuck in the prison being a lab rat almost like forever.

Dark tan skin, gorgeous smile, body to die for and powerful dance moves, no wonder Kai had always been the kind of guy that girls are mostly attracted to. The bad boy attitude, that so much sweet and flirtatious alluring smile, those had always been his main greatest assets that he had been using to the fullest to get any girl he had always wanted and he just never fails to do so. But, once he had his eyes on something, he hates like really really hates sharing it with others. Especially the girl he had already set his eyes upon. A little bit arrogant sometimes, Kai can be a little stubborn as well especially when he is trying to make his idea been heard by others. Kai had a passion for dancing and when he dances, he just forgets the whole world.
They had been loving each other ever since their middle school years, loving each other to the fullest, never caring about the world at all. That is until that incident that took her family away from her happen and Hyerin disappearing completely away from his life that's it. Kai had been totally heartbroken, never knowing the true reason behind why she had left him, thinking of it as the betrayal to the promise they had made for each other, Kai had promised never ever been serious in another relationship at all. That is until Fate had decided to bring them back together again.
Kai had been walking in an alley when he met with some kind of delinquents, getting into trouble like the usual him that is. A group against just one. It was just turning into a very messy fight until he heard of the voice he had been longing to hear, so desperately misses a lot. She just stands there, some shiny baseball bat in her hand, helping him wiping out those delinquents away from him. She could only looked at him afterwards, not believing she had been meeting him again and decided to ran again afterwards, only to have bumped back into him at the place where they hold their most memories, the tree nearby Kai's home. She tried explaining the main reason she had did all those, trying to make him understand but Kai just seems to not hear her at all. It was until a few days afterwards that he saw some guys in suits trying to take her away again that he felt the urge to protect her, believing the words she had said. He had tried protecting her afterwards, disguising her as another student in his class as he keeps her close to him. The two had been the sweet beings they are, protecting each other until the day his cousin met her and instantly knows heras one of the escaped experiments, making everything seems to be more complicated than before.
