Mirae is calm and easy-going. She never gets angry over little things, and always thinks positive. She is also talkative, charismatic, and a leader-like. She never once fail to be picked as a class-president, because she judges everythings objectively and honest. Because of that, she has many friends, both girls and boys.

She is the best at sports, and does well on science. She likes all kind of sports, but her speciality is running. She only spends 13 seconds at 100m distance. She also really likes baseball. Despite of being so concern about sport, she always does well on exams. Her smartness is a God-given. Her studying for ten minutes is equal to normal student's studying for an hour. But she never gives her all in studying, thus her GPA is not as great as everyone expected. When she is asked why, she answered calmly, “At least I've passed the exam.”

Because she’s friendly, athletic, and smart, she has many fans, but most of them are girls. Her image is a 'cool girl', since she loves wearing caps and doesn’t really pay attention to make-up. Over-protective, and kinda strict. Well, actually he is trying to be strict but he can’t. Always being hard on his children, and rarely shows his soft side. He thinks it will make them become strong and tough.

Older Brother: Yang Seungho | 24 years old | alive | college student
He is full of jokes and always brighten up the atmosphere. Likes eating and collecting gadgets.He says he is an early-adapter. Seems nice, but she can be strict sometimes. Mirae learns leadership from him.

Family background:

She was born in Busan. Her family was a cheerful and fun family. Even though her father was a busy policeman, he always tried to spend weekend with his family. Mirae learned sports from her older brother and martial arts from her father. Her younger brother was also a bright kid back then.

But things have changed. When Mirae was twelve, there was a problem within her family. Because of different way of thinking, herparents were always quarreling, yelling, and sometimes throwing things to each other. After some months of figthing, they finally divorced. Their father took Mirae and her younger brother and moved to Seoul, while her mother was left in Busan with her older brother.

Since then, her father became stricter, and over-protective. Her brother also became very quiet and cold. Her father always come home late(sometimes drunk), and her brother always locked himself in his room. The only friend that she had is Coco, her dog. She doesn’t like the gloomy atmosphere at home,so she often goes out walking with Cocoto relieve some stress.

Until now, she is still in contact with her mother and brother. They often meet up whenever there is a chance, without her father’s knowing. But despite of the problems she has, she never shows that in front of people and pretends like there is nothing wrong. She doesn’t like it when people are worrying about her.

How you became best friends:

• Chunji | They are childhood friends, so they are growing up together. Chunji is the first friend she made after she moved to Seoul. They have opposite personalities, but that's the thing that makes them fit each other.
• Bomi | It was one day after school is over. Mirae was on their way home when a woman screamed that a man stole her wallet. With instinct, Mirae chased after that man. But she got surprised when she saw an innocent-looking girl beat him down before her. They gavethe wallet back and brought the man together to the police. Mirae realized that Bomi is a student from her school and they get to know each other after that.

Love Interest:

• Hoya | The middler, doesn't like to be showy, but he's kinda famous among girl students (because of his y body, LOL XD). He is really good at sport. Rarely showing her affection but he always put people's need ahead of his.
• Woohyun | Can Woohyun please be a senior? The president of student council. Actually nice, funny, and sometimes flirty. Likes to get attention a lot, loves doing aegyo in front of girls. But once he get back to his job, he is very mean and serious. Likes nagging and complains a lot.
• Onew | Chunji’s older brother, another neighbour of her. He is really caring and always treat Mirae like his own sister. Like Mirae, she has no mother and sister, so he likes to have a girl in her house.

How you met / your story:

• Hoya | People always thinks Mirae is a cool girl and boyish, so she became used to that. But Hoya is the first person in the school that see Mirae as a girl (actually the first is Chunji but he isn't counted :p).
  It was one day when there is a marathon at the school. Mirae didn’t feel well that day, but she gave her all because her friends count on her. After a half way, she began to feel dizzy and exhausted. But she didn’t want to give up and decided to keep running. Hoya came from another class, and he should’ve competed with Mirae. At first, he offered a help but Mirae refused it. But he kept worrying when he saw her face became pale and looked like she almost fainted right away. At last, he forced Mirae to give up and piggyback her until the finish line. At that time, Hoya said,“Boys must protect girls. No matter how hard you try to act strong, you are still a girl right?”
  After that, Mirae realized that she should not force herself too much. They began to get along and know each other. Because Hoya stands out at sports, many girl students admire him. He often get surrounded by girls, and somehow it makes Mirae feels uneasy. Then, she realized that she likes Hoya, but she thinks that it is just one-sided love, so she decided to keep her feelings just for herself.
• Woohyun | Mirae is also a student council committee. She actually doesn’t want it, but her teacher forced her to join. Thus, she always does her job half-heartedly.
  Unfortunately, Woohyun is a strict president. He is perfectionist and won’t forgive a slight mistake. Because Mirae always slacking off, he often get mad at her. Usually, he gives her a punishment, like doing errands and give her more jobs to do. But after time passed, he enjoys being hard on her. He thinks her annoyed face is cute and it makes him want to do it again and again. 
• Onew | The first meeting of them is when Mirae just moved to Seoul. Mirae was surprised when she saw someone talking with her dog. Then, Onew introduced himself and said that they’re neighbour. He also introduced Chunji, her brother, and they began to get along. Since Mirae doesn’t like to be at home, she often plays in their house until night. Onew is very nice and caring. He treats Mirae like her own sister. Mirae also likes her, because Onew always makes her remember with Seungho, her older brother.

Your first impression of them and way you treat them:

• Hoya | A good student. Like the others, she admire him because he is good at sport. Often get jealous when he is surrounded by many girls, but she always acts like she doesn’t care. Because Hoya is a bit quiet, Mirae always laugh when he is out of character sometimes.
• Woohyun | Dislike him a lot. He is the person at the school that she wants to get rid first. She hate it because Woohyun always gives smile and kind to other people, but he always mean to her. She knows that she’s at fault for slacking off, but being treated unfairly only make her wants to rebel more.
• Onew | Mirae always see the figure of her older brother whenever she meet Onew. She likes being with him, because he is fun and warm.

• Hoya | He likes Mirae for being hard-working, but he hate it when she act too tough. They get along very well but sometimes it can be awkward when it is just two of them. He likes it when Mirae doing stupid things, since he rarely sees the cute side of her. He often helps her secretly when Woohyun makes her do many things.
• Woohyun | He hates Mirae for slacking off and doing things half-heartedly. He always get Mirae to do errands and mad at her if she is slacking even a bit. He glares at her when they meet, and gives her a scary look. But time goes by, and somehow it becomes a habit for him. So, he continued that although Mirae didn’t make any mistake, and tell her to do unnecessary things. He acts like a boss in front of her, and laugh it off when she has gone.
• Onew | Caring, and loving you as much as he loves Chunji, her younger brother. The three of you often go to walk together and playing. But he just treat you as a younger sister, because he has already in love with someone else.

She can do all kind of sports really well.But unlike Mirae, even though Bora aces sport, she still dresses up and thanks to that, she earns a nickname, ‘goddess’. In running, Bora always be the first, and people always call Mirae the ‘forever-second’. Because of that, she promised that one day she will beat Bora in running no matter what.

Of course because I want to be a part of your story! I really like your idea for bringing a dark story like Death Note into romance like this. Well, actually I was quite sad when Myungsoo is reserved, hyuu T-T
