Ayy~ long time, no see!

Time for a blog post featuring pre-lawsuit Dong Bang Shin Ki!

It has been 3? 4? years since the break up no, I am not going with that "hiatus" crap. Take it like a real fan and accept it as it is.  and I couldn't help but miss them as five regardless of how much I like how they are now. To be honest, I do not like SMe's music now... It's a waste of JYJ's music abilities if they stayed in the company, so I actually find it lucky that they aren't under them anymore. The company is more focused on making a catchy dance song than good songs that'll still be great to hear in years. It fits the TVXQ now than the five-member one. That much soulful harmony shouldn't be wasted on dubstep and auto-tune.

As much as I see the good side of the break up, I miss the happy behind the scenes crazy shinkis that would tease Junsu to no end,  the housemates who would brag about Jaejoong's amazing cooking, the hyungs that would complain about Changmin growing up too fast, the non-English speaking adults who'd ask Yoochun to order at a Mcdonalds when they're overseas, and the members who think Yunho watches over them very well. I miss the banter between the maknae-line who are a year apart, the awkward moments between the main couple of the fandom, and their wonderful harmony, the most. 

Remember the tears during Proud back in 2007? Remember the smiles at the MKMF 2008? Remember the reluctance to end the performance in 2009? 

I just wish people would stop treating the break up like it's the worst thing ever and just think of DB5K as a really good memory. But then again, as they say, "Rule no. 1: We NEVER talk about ex-relationships."
