My input on Baekhyun & Taeyeon

Yup, I'm gonna add on to the list of people who are talking about the newly announced couple.

Some of you guys probably don't care what I have to say; but to those who are actually reading, thanks for taking the time.

Anyways, just like a majority of both fan-bases, I was quite shocked when I saw the articles.

And the pictures. The pictures freaking got me.

Then SM confirmed it and then everyone started to break lose.

I'm not biased to Baekhyun or Taeyeon, so I feel it didn't really affect me the way it affected lots of people who stan them.

But, I can't help but feel, awkward.

Yeah, we all know Baekhyun is a Taeyeon fanboy, but you just never really think about it becoming true.

Ya know?

As for Taeyeon, I see her as a woman.

Not that I don't see Baekhyun as a man, I just see him as a little boy right now.

I just feel like Taeyeon would be his baby sitter or something. xD

But then again, who are we to judge?

Their age difference isn't even that bad either.

I can't help but feel so incredibly bad for Baekhyun AND Taeyeon.

The number of comments being thrown at them are freaking ridiculous.

And then Taeyeon made a couple statements earlier today.

Can't people just accept it?

Yeah, it might take awhile.

But we have to get used to this.

Yes, we're fans. Yes, idols say they love us the most.

But they have lives too.

Sorry to burst anyone's bubbles, but the chances of any fan really ending up with their idols are slim to none.

I've gotten to accept this because it just makes you feel better inside.

Being fans, we have to learn our positions in idols' lives.

Fans.

That's all we are.

Don't you guys see all the pain lots of you cause the idols by harrassing the person they could be madly in love with?

It's gonna take me some time to get used to BaekTae; but I would never go out of my way to insult either of them.

I just wish the rest of the KPOP fandom would realize that as well.

These are all my PERSONAL opinions, but I won't be surprised if someone comes at me saying that I'm being "close-minded".

I just think I'm being rational.

I wonder what SM is planning for our girls. Most of them are already confirmed to be dating and it won't be long until the rest of the girls announce who they're dating.I hope it's not going to cause them to disband because that's the time that I might be bawling like toddler. If Tae is happy with Baekhyun, then let's be happy for out kid leader too.

so now we have Yoona, Sooyoung, Tiffany, Taeyeon and I guess Hyoyeon too. I wish Seohyun or Yuri will be caught next. :D

I completely agree with you, some fans take it too far! I mean the idols have their own lives that they want to live, as good fans all we can do it support them, we have no say in what they should do with their lives. If we don't like anyone telling us what to do, then it's the same for them...I just made my own rant..

I just read about it...and frankly I don't care much. Just like you say: they like each other, let them be :3 we're just fans and we should support the one we are fan of, not hate on people they like or interact with them. But honestly I myself am a bit weirded out because they have that and because he's still a bit of a rookie...though, I'll support them either way. :)

Preach it! Thank you for this post!! This is exactly how I'm feeling right now... I don't understand those who call themselves exotics but yet still create all those fabwars for nothing! I've said it once and I'm gonna say it again, it's their life and they're the ones who decided who they should go out with and what's not :/ we are their fans and instead of bashing them we should be happy for what they've decided to do!~ that's all I gotta say tbh

I totally agree with you I don't see the point for people bashing on someone that they don't even know personally. I'm happy that Baekhyun found someone he likes/loves. He's human and he can love who ever he likes. We, as fans, should support him in any way instead of making everything difficult for him and her. I can't believe she apologizes for something she shouldn't be sorry for. It's okay for idols to date someone. We should get over worked for someone's happiness. Everyone needs love. I will support him in any way, no matter what. I'm happy if he's happy and that's that.

Three years age isn't really THAT much of a difference. My grandma for example was seventeen when she met my grandpa and he was twenty I think from what she told me :shrug: I hope fans don't think of me as a 'goody toshoes' for saying this, but, I think we should try and be happy for our favorite idols. Next to Jessica, Taeyeon is my bias in SNSD and I just want her to be happy same for Baekhyun ^^

I know Taeny, Baekyeol etc fans are probably hurting and that's okay.

But please DON'T KILL YOURSELF over this. You aren't depressed. You'll get over it trust me. I was a little bummed when NickFany happened but life goes on. Just take a break from KPop if you have to. Be strong.

And that's all I'll say ^^
