I'M SO MAD RIGHT NOW!!!

I was writing on the new chapter for Wicked Games today and right in the middle of writing my computer shuts down!!

I lost like half the chapter!!!

So, I take a deep breath and start rewriting it.

I write a lot and it's really good!

Then, I get iterrupted and have to leave the room. When I come back later, my computer is off AGAIN!

I turn it back on and when Word opens and it hadn't saved ANYTHING I just wrote!!!

I lost it all!!! It was so Good! Now, I'm pissed and have lost interest in updating!!

I'm so mad right now!!

Micrisoft word has actually that option to auto save. Just hit the main button then press options. Click the save tab in left side
And change the auto save after 10 minutes to 1 minute . Apply it. I hope it'll work for you too coz it always does for me

Google documents in Google drive??
It saves whatever you've written as soon as you stop typing~
I've been through that hell before...
You can even access it from your phone too so I write when ideas hit in the middle of the night XD

writing applications should come with an autosave every 5 minutes or something. I'm really surprised no one has thought of this. games can do it, how hard would it be?

It always happens to me but when It happens once I put it in hide and then I save and then keep writing more and then save.I keep doing that,writing then save writing then save.Before when it happened I was like you I would get pissed off and forget the chapter and go take a nap.
Maybe tomorrow you will feel better.

I use google drive, if my computer shuts down or restarts it saves what I wrote, even if I just leave to go to the restroom. I find it easy because I can access my writing on any computer as long as I have access too google and can sign in.

Word actually temporarily saves all recent files even if you don't save it. I can't remember exactly where it saves to, but if you look it up it's pretty easy to find. I've almost lost so many chapters from Word closing or my computer restarting, so finally I got aggravated and looked it up and yeah.c:

That's happened to me. Probably the most infuriating and disheartening thing that can possibly happen.
