The sound of soft bells jingle as the cold September air enters the use-to-be-lonesome bedroom. Untidy blankets and pillows surround and envelope both forms of bodies, snuggling beside each other.

She groans at the frosty air, shivering at the sudden change of temperature. He opens his eyes to see what was bothering her.

Staring at her intently, as if astonished to see her beside him, though she’s already been with him for the past hours, gently, he her yet soft, touchable skin. Letting his fingers linger and take him to uncertain spaces and curves. He leans forward and takes a whiff of her brown, auburn hair.

‘Still smells the same,' he confirmed, 'Strawberries... ' And with that he was reminded to buy her a new bottle of her favourite strawberry shampoo.

‘It describes her a lot,' he thought. ’Sweet and very pleasant, ' he grinned to himself.

Just then the body he hugged uncurled and stretched out of his reach. She inched a little further as she faced him with sweet smiles.

“Good Morning.” Is the first thing she says after taking a look at his masculine, handsome features. To him, he was just lucky, but to her, she had never seen anything so perfect in her life. Even his dimple awed her.

“Good Morning, Beautiful.” He greeted back at her, moving in to send her a kiss on the nose and receiving a giggle in return.

“Hey, it’s still morning. Do you still want more of what we had last night?” She asked, clearly teasing him, while pointing at his bear chest. He grinned and playfully pecked her lips.

“I don’t know... Hmmm... Maybe I do.” He winked at her, playing along. With that he got hit by the pillow in the face. She quickly gets up and jumps out of bed, running away from her crime. He dodged the pillow, the scene still sinking into him. Then he realised.

“Hey! What was that for? Where are you going? Get back here!” He yells, thinking she might be too far to hear him.

“I’m here in the kitchen, making breakfast.” She answered innocently, her voice echoing from the walls. He smiled suddenly at her response, like a man deeply in love---And he was.

A sudden vibration was felt from him pants. He dug into his pocket to retrieve his currently vibrating phone. It was Kai.

“Hello?”

“Lay. Dude, where have you been? The guys and were waiting for you like forever last night. What happened to ‘Boys’ Night Out’?”

'Damn,'  He cursed inwardly.

“Look, Kai, I was... Busy... I was working all night and didn’t even get any sleep.” He lied.

A sigh was heard on the other side of the line.

“You’re with Luna, aren’t you? You’ve been having sleepless nights because of Luna. Dude, I’ve heard that same, old excuse from you twice.” Kai replied knowingly, as if he had read through Lay’s mind minutes ago.  Lay gulped and scratched his head.

'Kai, do you read minds?' Was what he wanted to ask, but there was no use faking it now.

“Well, yea---“

“Lay! Breakfast’s ready!” Luna’s voice echoed again from the kitchen as the plates and spoons clanked together.

“Kai, I need to go. Sorry for not coming over. I’ll be---“

“Yeah, yeah. I know. She made breakfast. Go on.” Kai ended the call. He understood honestly Luna and Lay’s relationship. And it was absolutely fine with him and the boys. It’s just that Lay’s been spending less time with his best buds. Spending his sleepless nights, not with them, but with his gem, Luna.
